Harry Chubb Jones Jr., RHP/SS, Class of 2027
Commitment: Alabama

Jones recently flipped his commitment from Clemson to Alabama, landing Rob Vaughn and staff a high-end two-way talent in the ’27 class. The Georgia native possesses tremendous upside on the mound, working from a long and lean right-handed frame that displays projection and athleticism. Jones starts over the face before working to the belt and into a higher pronounced leg lift. He fires down the mound via a standard-length arm action and high three-quarters slot. Chubb’s fastball/slider combination and feel for the zone, with the heater showcasing run/ride traits and power into the high-90s. His slider displays two-plane tilt with late horizontal bite, while also mixing in a change-up. Jones is regarded as an advanced strike thrower and translates his high-end athleticism to the batter’s box with plus speed. He starts upright and even at the base with high hands, working to a quick barrel by way of a simple and direct leg load.




Aidan Kent, RHP, Class of 2027
Commitment: Georgia

California right-hander Aidan Kent announced his intentions on Georgia, providing Athens with a high-quality arm from the West Coast. Kent works from a big and lengthy frame with obvious projection, operating exclusively from the stretch. He starts above the belt, working into a medium pronounced leg lift before firing down the mound via a longer reach back arm action and high three-quarters slot. His fastball operates in the low-90s, jumping out of the hand with big run/ride traits. Kent works with a steady diet of heaters, mixing in a developing breaking ball. Wes Johnson and staff landed an intriguing right-hander with traits to build on, continuing the trend of high-level talent heading to the Southeast no matter their roots. 


Wyatt Plyler, OF, Class of 2027
Commitment: Wake Forest

Washington state outfielder Wyatt Plyler brings an exciting blend of tools to Winston-Salem, announcing his commitment to Wake Forest. Plyler displays quick-twitch athleticism in a bigger right-handed frame with noticeable strength present. In the box, he starts with a slightly wide base and low hands, utilizing a deeper inward hovering leg lift pre-launch. Plyler fires through a quick barrel at good angles, peppering all fields with hard hits that near 100. Defensively, his quickness and athleticism translate, while producing strong throws up to 96. Plyler’s loud blend of athleticism and tools make him a name to know in the 2027 class. 


Malcolm Blaqman, SS, Class of 2027
Commitment: Rutgers

The Scarlet Knights experienced a massive recruiting win in landing Malcolm Blaqman out of Maryland, an athletic middle-infielder with continued offensive performance on the circuit. Blaqman operates from a medium frame that features lower half strength, moving well laterally and posting sixty times as low as 6.65, while displaying a soft glove on the dirt. In the box, he starts with a wide base and active high hands, utilizing a quick inward toe tap before firing through a speedy and compact barrel. Most of Blaqman’s present impact comes by the line-drive variety, peppering the gaps and allowing for the use of his speed. His frame allows for more projection, leaving his power output to be determined. Blaqman is a no doubt infielder with the quickness and athleticism to prove it, along with an intriguing up arrow offensive profile. 


James Clark, SS, Class of 2026
Commitment: Duke
In terms of high school draft risers, Clark may top the list and recently announced his commitment to Duke after previously being pledged to Princeton. Clark works from a medium frame that features length and lower half strength, starting even and upright with high hands in the box. He works to the barrel via a direct outward step leg load, firing through a quick and compact barrel at strong angles. Clark displays present feel to hit to go along with a decent amount of impact, a hit/power blend that may earn him a top round draft selection. His speed plays on both sides of the ball, especially defensively where he profiles as a no-doubt middle infielder that has recorded throws up to 92. Clark ranges well to either direction via a quick lower-half, utilizing soft hands and a strong internal clock. 


Miles Clark, OF, Class of 2026
Commitment: Duke

Miles, like his brother James, also recently announced his commitment to the Blue Devils, providing an immediate boost to Duke’s 2026 class. Miles boasts athleticism of his own, working from a medium right-handed frame with sixty times as low as 6.72. Defensively, Clark attacks well in the outfield before unleashing strong throws that have reached 96. At the plate, Clark starts upright and even at the base, keeping the hands behind his ear. He works into a direct leg load before firing through a quick barrel that showcases pull side impact. Clark brings an exciting all-around blend to his game with tools both on defense and at the dish. 


Bubba Day, RHP, Class of 2027
Commitment: Florida State

Nebraska native and right-hander Bubba Day announced his intentions to attend Florida State. The Seminoles land a top arm in the 2027 recruiting class, adding to a highly talented group mainly from Florida. Day slots in as their highest rated pitcher per our rankings, utilizing a lean and lengthy frame that possesses obvious projection. The Omaha product has a bit of funk to his operation, starting over the face before working into a high and compact leg load, dropping the arm to create a low three-quarters slot. Day’s fastball operates in the low-90s, featuring jump from the hand and a run/ride profile. He commands the heater well and mixes in a sharp two-plane breaking ball with late bite.

PHILADELPHIA – When the folks at Perfect Game reached out to invite him to pitch in the 2026 PG All-Star Game for rising sophomores and juniors, Cullen Scott had one request. “You mind if I get a couple of at-bats, too?” Along with his dad, Scott traveled from the family’s home in Texas to Citizens Bank Park. For the fourth time since its inception in 2023, two rosters comprised of the best rising juniors (and a handful of rising sophomores) will step out onto the field Friday afternoon, kicking off the All-American weekend.
