Michael Mayhugh, OF/2B, Spring Branch, Texas
Class of 2023 | PG Rank: 500

Mayhugh is one of the top uncommitted players in Texas due to the blend of speed and power. He has been clocked as low as 6.91 in the sixty-yard dash has shown the ability to find loud barrels to the pull side. The speed translates well in game, especially on the defensive side where he covers a ton of ground roaming the outfield.

Blake Hall, SS/2B, Beaumont, Texas
Class of 2023 | PG Rank: 500

Hall is a 5-foot-10, 162-pound middle infielder with smooth actions on defense. He has the range and arm to play on either side of the pillow. The swing is simple and short with a line drive approach. The hands work well in the swing as he sprays the ball all over the field. He produces some natural loft with feel for the barrel.

Jack Haag, RHP, Montgomery, Texas
Class of 2023 | PG Rank: 500

Haag is building upon a good summer where he showed athleticism and promise on the mound. He has a simple side step to a belt high leg lift, longer arm swing in the back and a higher release point, creating a tough angle to pick up. The fastball has been up to 90 mph and he has shown feel to spin a curveball in the mid-70s.

Griffin Turner, SS/3B, Fort Worth, Texas
Class of 2023 | PG Rank: 500

Turner is an athletic middle infielder with tools across the board. He’s a great runner, clocking a 6.61 60-yard dash time. He has been up to 88 mph from the outfield and 87 mph on the infield so the arm isn’t in question. Turner is always a threat to run as he had 19 stolen bases over the summer. He has a simple swing with feel for the barrel and has been a consistent performer in PG events recently.

Colin Carney, RHP, Kingwood, Texas

Carney is one of the most projectable arms in the state, standing at 6-foot-6. He has tons of room for growth within the frame and as he does the velocity should only get better. He has already been up to 87 mph with plenty of angle as he works down the mound efficiently. As he continues to fill out the frame this should be an arm to keep a close eye on.

Sammy York, 1B/RHP, The Woodlands, Texas

York is a physical first baseman that has shown big jump off the barrel when in rhythm. He is athletic and moves around the bag well and has also been up to 88 mph on the mound. He had two homers over the summer, showing off the power and also had four doubles. York is a two way prospect with big upside.

Austin Haley, 3B/MIF, Sherman, Texas

Haley only played in a few events over the summer but showed off the tools we have been accustomed to seeing. He’s a twitchy hitter with advanced feel for the barrel and a short path to the ball. On the defensive side, he has the tools to stick at short with an above average arm and range to both sides.

Cord Copley, RHP/3B, Sugar Land, Texas

Copley has shown huge promise on the mound in recent outings and looks to continue this trend in Jupiter. The fastball isn’t overpowering but he moves it around well and commands it to both sides. He has gotten it up to 86 mph and lives in the mid-80s. He turns over a nice changeup in the upper-70s and can land a breaking ball in the low-70s.

Ian Carlson, RHP/MIF, Humble, Texas

Carlson has some two way upside that he has shown in recent performances. The arm is good and only going to get better as he refines the mechanics. He runs the fastball up to 86 mph with riding life in the zone. The bat is also solid with a short path and the hands work well in the swing. He’s a physically mature player that has upside on both sides.

Kolvin Davis, OF/RHP, Houston, Texas

Davis is a rangy outfielder that has been a consistent bat, posting a .313 average this summer. He has natural loft in the swing with good bat speed and barrel awareness. In the outfield he has a solid arm and can play all three positions. He’s one of the bats that Hunter Pence Baseball 2023 Heard will rely on in Jupiter.

There are very few power arms like Meyer left uncommitted in the 2023 class. The RHP is a durable, athletic 6-foot-2, 180 pounds who possesses a lightening quick arm that has produced a fastball up to 94 mph and eye-opening spin approaching 2,600 rpms. He backs that up with a slider that profiles as a true power breaker in the low-80s and has registered elite spin in the 3,200+ range. There is no denying the arm talent here, but his command is still a work in progress. His arm path is long and loose and slightly offline making it a necessity for his timing to be well synched up. Now that most college programs are well into their fall seasons and have a clearer picture of their needs, Meyer should go off the board shortly.

Dylan Kelly, C, Sanford, N.C.

South Charlotte Panthers 2023

Some players you must see over an extended period of time to truly appreciate their ability and Kelly is that kind of prospect. The 6-foot, 185-pound catcher is steady as they come, does a nice job of handling a staff of high-end arms and gives the coaching staff a secure feel when he’s behind the dish. His glove work has steadily improved, his throwing mechanics are simple allowing his arm to make throws on the bag with regularity. He is a consistent performer with the stick as well and we have seen him deliver several clutch hits for the Panthers in the last calendar year. Kelly isn’t flashy but is the type of player that any college program would value to add depth to their roster. He is going to land with a quality program by the end of the fall.


Trace Humberger, OF, Concord, N.C.

South Charlotte Panthers 2023

Humberger is pretty much a jack of all trades on the ball field, and it wouldn’t be far-fetched for him to play all nine positions. At 6-foot, 195 pounds, he’s a physical athlete that moves well, covers a lot of ground in the outfield and has soft enough hands to transition to the infield. His arm strength plays at every spot, and he can take the mound and generate outs with his fastball that reaches the mid-80s. His best tool may well be the stick as he looks like a LHH with gap power that projects long-term. In a time of roster limitations, every program can use a player that has the flexibility that Humberger brings to a club.

Bryce Hooker, C, High Point, N.C.

USA Prime Coastal Stars

There is no doubt Hooker looks the part when he steps on the field at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, he is physical and advanced from a muscular development standpoint. He is a presence behind the plate and has the skill set to stay there long-term with the flexibility and lateral mobility you look for in a premium backstop. However, he has been very loud with the stick this year, showing elite bat to ball skills and power to the pull side. There is some length to his swing, but he finds the barrel and there is dense strength at impact. This is another prospect that should find his spot at the next level very soon.

Dirtbags Prospects

Clonch is an ultra-projectable LHP at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds and is just now starting to come into his own. He misses barrels at a high level as he presents a tough look to opposing hitters with his almost crossfire delivery. He strides across his midline as he works his abbreviated arm path in the back, and it makes the ball jump on hitters with significant angle. His velocity is trending upward, sitting in the mid-80s grabbing 86 or better when necessary. His breaker locks up LHHs and his developing changeup gives him something that moves away from righties. LHPs are always in demand and Clonch may be making the jump at the perfect time heading into this week. He could really generate massive interest with a big performance in Jupiter.

Matt Brown, RHP, Carlisle, Ontario

Canadian Premier

Coming off a loud showing at the WWBA Worlds Underclass, Brown is a big time right-hander on the uncommitted scene. The fastball plays up to the low-90s with some downward plane and hard sink. The ability to spin and feel for the slider at 79-81 mph can be a swing-and-miss offering at the next level. Plenty of physical projection in a 6-foot-4, 185-pound and really uses his length on the mound to create extension and separation. There’s a lot to like in this profile going forward.

Makaio Cisneros, RHP, Whitby, Ontario

Canadian Premier

Cisneros is another loud arm coming off two solid appearances at the Underclass, and he brings a ton of upside. Plenty of length in a lean 6-foot-2 build and a high-waisted frame. Good arm-side life to the fastball at 87-88 mph tops and really athletic usage of his lower half. Maintains arm speed on a quality fading changeup and the traits really play at this age. He’s an arm that can make an immediate impact on a campus.

Graff-Rowe is a big athletic profile that makes a considerable impact on both sides. He’s a sub 6.7 runner that oozes speed and quickness in all facets. The range really shows defensively in the outfield, but he’s begun to string together hard contact at the plate. It’s a quick right-handed swing with plenty of intent in the hands. A solid blend of speed and contact can play anywhere in a lineup, and Graff-Rowe offers just that.

Evan Gunn, MIF, Oshawa, Ontario

Gunn has real feel for the leather and defensive instincts that show up the middle, particularly at second base. It’s quick lateral range and crisp transfers for quality defense at premium spots. He shows solid bat speed and the ability to consistently impact the ball to the pull side. Good loft and strength in the path plays, and he’s shown a track record of power in PG events. Keep a close eye on this one.

Chun is one of the top of the uncommitted talents in the entire country. He oozes athleticism and projection in a lean 6-foot-1, 165-pound build. The swing is rhythmic and simple, as he creates good length and whip with extension out front. Chun works the barrel to the pull side and the power is beginning to show in game. His athletic presence in the box shows up defensively, where he’s comfortable playing short or third base and even handling second base duties. The actions are quick and fluid with crisp transfers. Overall, Chun checks a lot of boxes a profile standpoint with even more upside going forward.

Chandler Murray, 1B/3B, Honolulu, Hawaii

Murray is an impactful corner bat with tons of strength in the profile. He’s had a track record of producing consistent hard contact over two summers and the pop shows to all field. Gets into his lower half from a direct path with some notable strength at impact. The arm strength can handle either corner infield spot with a middle-of-the-order producing bat. The frame shows more physical projection down the line and can really blossom as a whole.

Kory Chu, UTIL/RHP, Kaneohe, Hawaii

Chu is one of the more impactful two-way standouts on the squad and continues to impress during the summer circuit. There is present strength in the path that plays pretty well to the pull side. It’s a physical frame in the box with some whip through the zone and hard contact consistently. He offers plenty of defensive versatility around the infield and can also hop on the bump and show a potent two-pitch mix with a fastball that consistently lives in the mid-to-high-80s. Chu has shown out over the past two summers and really grown into his frame, he’s another uncommitted name to watch closely.

Taylin Oana, MIF/RHP, Honolulu, Hawaii

Hawaii Elite 2G

Oana has some major upside and is young for the 2023 class. He’s opened eyes in a big way with his physical projection and pure talent on both sides. The arm talent really showed out, as the fastball can reach the low-90s with arm-side run from a looser slot and spinning a sharp breaking ball in the low-70s. The frame projects big no matter where he plays, as it offers plenty of length and long limbs that are just starting to fill out. Oana has an athletic look in the box with loose hands that play to all fields. He gets extended and can really turn on mistakes with intent. Defensively, Oana is pretty advanced up the middle and has the ability to handle either shortstop or second base for Hawaii Elite. It’s an enticing profile with traits and physical projection, there’s a lot to work with here.

Kade Schneider, OF/1B, South Barrington, Ill.

Iowa Select Scout Team

Schneider will be an uncommitted player to follow in Jupiter this week. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound outfielder/first baseman will play an integral part of Iowa Select Scout Team’s success this week. Schneider is a toolsy player, recording a 6.98 sixty yard dash at his latest showcase. Along with, an outfield velocity of 82 mph and exit velo of 92 mph. Look for Schneider to have a successful week.

Michael Boyce, RHP, Naperville, Ill.

Cangelosi Sparks 2023 Black

Boyce stands out with big arm strength on the mound. The uncommitted right-handed pitcher ran the fastball up to 90 mph this summer with his Cangelosi Sparks team. Boyce has put together a solid 2022 campaign at Perfect Game events, recording 10 2/3 innings on the mound with 12 strikeouts and only 7 hits allowed. He uses a quick arm on the mound to spin the fastball at higher spin rates, paired with a quality breaking ball. Boyce has a chance to turn some heads this weekend in Jupiter.

Kaden Griffitts, OF/LHP, Riverton, Ill.

Mid-South Prospects

Griffitts is an athletic left-handed hitting outfield from Central Illinois, who currently remains uncommitted. He has a medium build with solid strength in the frame at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds. He has above average speed as a sub-7 runner in the sixty yard dash, with a quick first step and natural reads in the outfield. Griffitts recorded a top throw of 86 mph from the outfield at his latest showcase in February. His bat has really good juice for his size, showing a middle-of-the-field approach with pullside power and thump. His bat speed is impressive in the box and projects to continue to develop at the net level.

Miller is an intriguing uncommitted right-handed pitcher in the 2023 class that will be on display in Jupiter this week. His frame oozes potential at 6-foot-5, 215-pounds with room to add more strength to the frame. Long limbs create a tough look for hitters in the box, featuring a fastball that regularly works into the upper-80’s on the mound. Miller commands the zone well for a taller pitcher, allowing only 13 walks in 22 innings of work in 2022. He recorded 28 strikeouts over that time, giving up only 20 hits. The secondary offerings continue to develop and trend in the right direction.

Maddux Frese, SS/RHP, Norway, Iowa

Iowa Select Scout Team

Frese is well know for his ability to provide a two-way impact to his teams, showing off nice bat-to-ball skills and pitchability traits on the mound. His glove is soft on the infield, regularly making plays to both sides of his body with arm strength to stick on the left side long term. His hit tools translate to the next-level with feel for the barrel and ability to see the breaking ball in the box. Frese will also jump on the bump this week for Iowa Select Scout, featured a mid-80’s fastball and three off-speed pitches to keep hitters off balanced. Frese will be a nice, versatile addition to a school’s recruiting class.

Aden O'Donnell, RHP, Bettendorf, Iowa

Mid-South Prospects

O’Donnell has been impressive as any uncommitted 2023 arm in the Midwest so far this year. He boasts a stat line of 16 2/3 innings pitched with 31 strikeouts, and only 5 hits allowed over that time. Also, allowed only 11 walks and one earned run to cross the plate. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound O’Donnell has an athletic frame with room to continue to fill out over the coming years. His arm is quick, running the fastball into the upper-80’s regularly. He lands with a slightly stiff front leg, generating some power from the backside as he works down the mound in-line. His secondary pitches has wipeout potential at the next-level. This is an arm that should get lots of attention this week at Jupiter.

Tyler Welch, RHP, Davenport, Iowa

Welch is a sturdy built right-handed pitcher who has continued to get better over time on the mound. Welch recently reached as high as 88 mph on the mound this fall, while controlling the zone well and spotting up to each side of the plate. He featured a slider and curveball that have potential to be out-pitches at the next level. Welch is slated to start Thursday night on the mound for the Iowa Select Scout Team, at 5:20 pm on Marlins field 7.

Mid-South Prospects

Plummer is due for a nice bump into the rankings, next time they roll around for the Iowa 2023 class. Plummer is an uncommitted left-handed hitting infielder/outfielder prospect who has shown well this year. The Valley high school product had a successful high school season and rolled that success into a few PG fall events in Iowa. He has a medium build at 5-foot-11, 175-pounds that he uses well to cause havoc during games. Plummer plays with energy on the field and tools that will help a team at the next level. Quality productivity from Plummer who is trending in the right direction.

Canes American

Harbach may be a ‘T1000’ right now in our rankings, but that will certainly change after his showing at the South Qualifier. He’s a 6-foot-4 right-hander who was 92-94 with heavy sink from an easy release and showed a low-80s slider, all the components pointing to a high-end upside arm if he throws more strikes. He’s also got ridiculous grades/test scores, including a perfect 36 ACT, which just makes this even more enticing to programs all over the country.

Caylon Dygert, RHP/C, Magnolia, Texas

Banditos Scout Team 2023

Dygert is a performer as he’s put together an impressive year on both sides of the ball and it’s certainly a profile that fits at the next level. He’ll run the fastball right around 90 mph on the mound with a ton of strikes (13 BB in 51 IP) and there’s feel for a pair of secondaries in a tight upper-70s slider that can miss bats and a changeup in the same range that he kills spin on. The arm strength plays big behind the dish too with real athleticism back there and he’s confident in the box with a strong barrel and a propensity to be on it early in looks.

Hunter Pence Baseball 2023 Heard

Atkinson has really taken a step forward over the last year in terms of his stuff and now he fits the mold of the big physical Texas power arm that we see so often. He’s 6-foot-5 and been up to 93 this fall showing real life downhill with the fastball and while he can overwhelm hitters with it a bit, there’s a very real slider in the mix that he throws with all kinds of conviction, and he can rip off some nasty ones to miss bats with. He’s also got some real thump and feel to hit in the bat as he controls his long levers well, even if it’s glaring upside on the mound long-term.

Stix 2023 Scout

Tranberg has had a good circuit and finished with a strong showing of stuff at the World Series in Arizona. He’s a 6-foot-4, 215-pound right-hander who closed the summer working into the low-90s from a well-hidden compact arm stroke as he powers down the mound well and there’s really strong feel to spin as well. It’s two breaking balls with the slider at the forefront, throwing it regularly in the upper-70s with significant spin rates, and he throws, making this a power-arm profile with size, strikes and strong stuff.
 

Montgomery Bognar, LHP, Katy, Texa

5 Star Performance 2023 National

Bognar has been impressive in a couple different looks on the circuit and there’s certainly good reason he should have a home at the next level. He’s a good-sized left-hander at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds and there’s arm speed and intent across the mix. He’s been up 89, pitching in/around the upper-80s, with good angle and life downhill while the slider is a real good pitch in the 76-77 range, and he can turn over a solid changeup with equal intent. He’s been limited on innings as a whole but it’s a big strikeout ratio and he’s limited hits and walks in the couple short looks.

Marucci Elite Texas

Drake is coming off a summer circuit where he was simply ridiculous with the bat, hitting .545 across 15 games on a strong group of events. He’s a good athlete which should allow him to stick up the middle on the defensive end but the hit carries this with lots of quickness in the wrists and the overall comfortability finding a way to get the ball in play, with only one strikeout in almost 50 plate appearances in our stuff this year, that stands out.

Gayle has been a steady arm over the course of the summer circuit and it’s a good foundation that’ll make a program better at the next level. He’s got good size and arm strength, pitching in the upper-80s in most looks, and it’s difficult to pick up as he hides it well in the back with a compact arm stroke. There’s a firm breaking ball in the mix as well that’ll project well too giving him the kind of mix that’ll get some attention from recruiters out looking this week.

Hunter Pence Baseball 2023 Heard

Ekdall has just flat out banged this year, hitting .511 across 20 games on the PG circuit and it’s just been impressive to watch. He’s an athletic infielder with arm strength across the diamond, enough so to potentially fit on the left side but the bat is the carrying tool as he had nine hits at the Qualifier against some impressive arms. It’s a fast and compact stroke and he looks fearless in the box having no issues recognizing (6 Ks in 54 PA) and getting a good swing off each time.

Hunter Pence Baseball 2023 Heard

Another uncommitted arm on this talented Hunter Pence squad, Booth brings a real intriguing foundation of a profile that projects well into the next level. He’s 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with an athletic delivery and a quick arm, has been up to 90 with the fastball this fall while pitching in the upper-80s and can really spin it, throwing the breaking with lots of intent in the low/mid-70s and the overall components to miss a good number of bats.

Gammel’s a 6-foot-4, 175-pound right-hander with all kinds of projection to the profile given the size and how well he maintains being synced up and its intriguing present stuff as he brings a tough look. It’s a low slot and really angled release that lets the fastball play up in the mid-80s while really being able to tunnel a sweeping slider out of that same low window. He’s thrown a ton of strikes this year with only nine walks in almost 40 innings which is certainly a big plus.


Nolan Jondahl, RHP, Georgetown, Texas

Jondahl is an athletic projection righty who has impressed in different looks this year. He’s 6-foot-2 and only 165-pounds with tons of room to fill and already has been up to 88, pitching right around the mid-80s in extended looks and staying away from hard contact while missing a solid amount of bats. The arm really works with an ability to move the fastball around that stands out and it really lets the tight mid-70s slider play well off it with a deeper tunnel and late horizontal bite that looks the part of a long-term swing-and-miss pitch like it already can get.

Hunter Pence Baseball 2023 Heard

Vickery hasn’t missed a real ton of bats this year but he’s gonna get serious outs for a program at the next level. It’s an athletic projection profile with a full mix of pitches. He’s been 85-87 in different looks from a low easy release that sinks the fastball hard, pitching almost exclusively in the bottom of the zone with it. Both the slider and changeup have been effective pitches in the looks we’ve gotten and it’s easy to project on the components that both have right now.

Gregory-Alford is the top ranked pitcher out of Colorado in the 2024 class and it’s easy to see why. The right-hander features a physical 6-foot-5, 225-pound frame and a quality three-pitch mix. The fastball can work into the low-90s, while a sharp, low-80s slider and fading changeup can miss bats.

Caruso is a projectable right-hander with intriguing stuff present. The fastball has been up to 89 mph with life through the zone.  A fading, mid-70s changeup works well off the heater while a sharp, low-70s curveball can generate whiffs consistently.

Dessens put together a strong showing throughout the summer circuit. The outfielder possesses an advanced hit tool that allows line drives to be sprayed to all fields. More power should come down the line as the frame continues to add strength. It is an intriguing offensive profile with upside.

Shepardson is a lean, athletic right-hander that can miss bats often. The fastball has been up to 88 mph with feel for a 12-6 curveball that possesses sharp bite. Both offerings can be thrown for strikes consistently and miss bats regularly.

One of a handful of Floridians who'll suit up for the Arizona-based T-Rex club, Stephenson is an uncommitted left-hander who wasn't on the circuit much this summer, but impressed when he did throw. Not overly physical at 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, Stephenson saw his fastball peak into the mid-80s this summer, bumping 85 mph, while showing the ability to pitch, mixing and matching to keep the opposition off balance. In two of his three tournaments this summer Stephenson made the All-Tournament Team, including during the 17u Elite Championships and the WWBA Florida Qualifier, two deep and challenging pools of teams.

Walker Vanecek, 1B, Riverview, Fla.

AZ T-Rex Scout Team 

A strongly built 6-foot, 215-pound right-handed hitting first baseman, Vanecek made his presence felt this summer offensively, connecting for five home runs over five events (homered in 4 of those 5 events) including the 17u WWBA and BCS. He does a nice job of remaining balanced in the box which helps the power regularly play, showing consistent bat-to-ball skills with a combination of leverage and strength at the point of contact. Our scouts saw him catch some this summer and whether he continues to suit up behind the plate or man first base, the bat is at the forefront of his profile.

Pruitt is a consistent performer with the hit and the power tools both playing in game. The Texas native possesses a fluid barrel with heaviness to it and is more than capable with the glove at shortstop. Also a great athlete, the upside to the overall profile is significant.

Dillon Lester, C, Baytown, Texas

There is plenty to like in terms of what Lester brings to the table. He is a very athletic behind the dish with catch and throw skills and a good amount of polish. The bat plays as well, as he utilizes a short and quick stroke with balance.

Joseph 'Dane" Lemaster, RHP, Tomball, Texas
Class of 2023 | PG Rank: 500

Lemaster has made some very impressive strides over the last year and has an impressive repertoire. The right-hander sits in the upper-80s comfortably and has been up to 90 with good extension. The slider at 76-77 is a weapon with tight and late two-plane break.

Eduardo Balboa, 3B/1B, Weslaco, Texas

Balboa offers plenty of power and impact with the bat. The corner infielder swings with lots of intent and shows excellent strength out front. He has hit .364 across PG events in 2022 and produces extra-base hits on a regular basis.

Garrick Williams Jr., RHP, The Woodlands, Texas

Texas native Williams Jr. has some very projectable stuff, working in the upper-80s with his heater and pairing it with a vertical CB that features sharp depth. Standing at a physical 6-foot-1, 195-pounds, he possesses quality athleticism and the entire arsenal looks destined for further jumps in the near future.

Konings will hit in the middle of the Canadian Premier order this week in Jupiter and be a key cog in their attack, bringing good hitting tools to the table with solid power/speed components and good defense in the outfield. He’s a well-rounded player who can do a lot of things well, and should leave Jupiter with a lot of interest.

Tate Carey, RHP, Windsor, Ontario

Canadian Premier

One of the top ‘24’s in Canada to my eyes, Carey is younger for the grade and has real projection traits. He has good size and room to fill on his frame, with his fastball reaching 90-91 mph on the mound to go along with good strike-throwing and projectable secondary stuff. He also has a fair bit of power in his righthanded swing and a chance to play third base long term, giving him some two-way upside, though he’s likely to be best long term on the mound, where he has power arm upside.

Keaton Cottam, C, Burlington, Ontario

Cottam is a quality defensive catcher who stands out for his receiving skills and general athleticism behind the plate, with a quick release and solid-average arm pairing well together, producing in-game sub-2.00 second pops at times. The swing is compact and direct at the plate with feel for the barrel and a frame that will hold more weight and subsequent power, though his calling card right now is definitely his prowess at the most important position on the field.

Lachlan Harrison, LHP, Mississauga, Ontario

Canadian Premier

Harrison is a long, lean lefty with ease of operation in his delivery and some deception there as well, working mostly in the mid-80’s with his fastball right now, touching the upper-80’s at times and creating steep angle to the strike zone from a higher slot. He throws a mid-70’s curveball with 1/7 shape that plays well out of that high slot as well as a changeup in the upper 70’s that has good arm side movement, and looks the part of a classic projection lefty.

Keegan O'Hearn, OF/LHP, Oshawa, Ontario

O’Hearn is a big, physical lefthanded hitter and pitcher who stands 6-5/210 and looks every bit of it. He’s primarily a power-hitting corner outfielder, a good athlete for his size with a huge arm from right field, also featuring above-average raw power from the left side of the plate. He’s also up to 90-91 mph from the left side on the bump with good angle to the plate, and has two-way upside at the collegiate level.

Will Bittman, RHP, Lebanon, Ohio

Bittman stood out last month at the Ohio Valley Qualifier, where he showed an athletic operation on the mound and solid present stuff. He works uptempo on the mound and has flashes of real repeatability, working in the 85-87 mph range consistently and showing real bite to his breaking ball in the mid-upper 70’s. He’s got some room to fill out a medium frame, and has intriguing traits overall.

Chase Van Ameyde, IF/RHP, Lake Orion, Mich.

Midland Redskins

Van Ameyde is a very intriguing two-way talent with big size at 6-5/180 already. He’s a good mover for his size with a ton of body left to grow into, and has shown intriguing defensive tools on the left side of the infield with power in his righthanded bat, to go along with a multi-arm slot look on the mound, up to 90 mph with power sink at times as well as a developing slider. He’s a big name to watch heading into next spring.

PG has announced the dates for Prospect Gateway events across the country - unique opportunities for young players to receive professional feedback and prepare for the next level. The Prospect Gateways are for players ages 13U-14U and serve as a qualifier for the National Showcase. Kevin Schuver, the senior director of showcases at Perfect Game, said these events are chances for players to step out of their comfort zone and show what they’re really made of. “Perfect Game Prospect Gateways aren’t just events.
