Anthony Silva (2022, San Antonio, Texas) started off this weekend with a bang. The TCU commit had a multi-hit game with two well-struck doubles on Friday night. He starts with a simple toe-tap timing and explodes through the ball with electric bat speed. The swing has good leverage to it as well. His overall athleticism stands out in the field and shows off solid range at shortstop with soft hands. He ranges especially well to his backhand side and made a couple difficult plays look easy in the hole. Plenty of arm strength for shortstop with a quick release. Silva is currently ranked the No. 3 player in the state of Texas for the 2022 class according to PG.
