National Academic Top Prospects

Here is an early look at the top prospects from this weekends National Academic Showcase. A more complete list will follow after all of the scouting notes have been compiled and reports have been completed.

Luke Maglich, 2013, MIF, Sarasota, FL, Riverview HS:
Luke has a good build and bat show some pull pop, ran a 6.90 and was smooth on the INF also throwing 82 across the diamond.

John Melody, 2013, C, Houston, TX, Episcopal HS:
John has a nice line drive swing plane and consistently squared up balls during BP, also popped a 2.00 with a quick transfer and release from behind the plat
