Harry Chubb Jones Jr., SS/RHP, Class of 2027
Commitment: Clemson
The Tigers once again come into Georgia to grab their highest ranked player of the ’27 recruiting class. Jones Jr. screams athleticism with his long and lean frame and easy actions on the dirt while boasting one of the strongest arms in the class. He uses his leverage in the box to drive the baseball with impact out front. Head Coach Erik Bakich is also getting a top arm in the class. The right-handed pitcher regularly runs the fastball into the mid-90s with a pair of breaking balls in the low-to-mid-80s. With his rhythmic toe-tap delivery and good backside explosion off the rubber, Jones Jr. has the delivery to chase triple digits and with more strength and direction he gets there.
Drake McClurg, OF, Class of 2027
Commitment: Texas A&M
The Aggies go into Indiana and grab the No. 1 ranked outfielder in the state class with the addition of McClurg. The switch-hitter controls the barrel through the zone with a compact stroke from both sides of the plate. A plus runner who can play all three spots in the outfield, McClurg uses the whole field and puts pressure on the defense every time he steps in the box. Another quality addition for the Aggies who now have 10 commitments from players inside the Top-250 of the ’27 PG rankings.
Jorvorskie Lane Jr., C, Class of 2026
Commitment: Arkansas
The Razorbacks continue to add to their ’26 recruiting class as they bring on their highest-ranked recruit per the ’26 PG rankings. The PG All-American and No. 1 ranked backstop in the Texas state class has immense upside offensively as one of the premier bats in the entire country. With his top-of-the-scale bat speed and barrel awareness in the box, Lane Jr. can hit for power, and has done so at every stop along the PG circuit. His versatility on defense and present athleticism will allow Head Coach Dave Van Horn to plug his name in at multiple spots to get his potent bat in the lineup. With the addition of Jorvorskie the Hogs now have eight players committed that are ranked inside the Top-400 of the ’26 PG rankings.

Cole Kuhn, RHP, Class of 2027
Commitment: Duke
The hulking 6-foot-6 right-hander made his pact to Coach Muscara and the Blue Devils this past week. Coach Muscara is a well-renowned pitching mind that yearns for the components that Kuhn possesses. Low-to-mid 90s heat that comes out of the hip, an extremely low release height and steep angles are just some of the attributes that the Elkins Park, PA native brings to the table. Add-in feel for spin and the ability to turnover a changeup plus huge physical projection that remains, and you can certainly see why Coach Muscara and the Blue Devils made this one a high priority.
Will Meehan, LHP, Class of 2026
Commitment: Boston College
We mentioned Meehan in our Post “Jupiter” recap as an uncommitted for now name and he shortly made his commitment to Boston College after that. The athletic lefty runs it into the low-90s with more to come, while creating a tough angle that makes the heater jump on hitters. He has feel for his sweeping breaker and completes his repertoire with a faded changeup that has desirable traits to it. The upside is pretty vast, as the 6-foot-4 lefty has monster physical upside and will certainly add more velocity as he continues to mature.
Henry Pancoast, OF/RHP, Class of 2026
Commitment: Seton Hall
Pancoast brings an exciting two-way skill set with the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball. At the plate, he brings an enticing blend of barrel skills and impact potential. The power showed up in a big way in 2025, as eighteen of his thirty-eight hits went for extra bases, however his upside on the mound could be limitless. A long, loose arm stroke that possesses legit arm speed plus the physical upside remaining only means there is more velocity to come. He has already been up to 90 mph with feel for a 2-plane breaker that he has the ability to manipulate a bit with swing-and-miss capabilities. The projection remaining is something to monitor moving forward for the Hainesport, NJ native.

Lubin Rincon, SS, Class of 2027
Commitment: Texas
The Longhorns have just been on an absolute tear on the recruiting trail since head coach Jim Schlossnagle took over the helm and land yet another big in-state recruit in Rincon for the ’27 cycle. That now makes three of the top four in the state heading to Austin with even more to come as the 2027 crop continues to make college decisions. Rincon specifically is about as ideal of a prospect as you can have just from a straight profile aspect. He’s a 6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed hitting shortstop with monster power projection and plenty of athleticism to stick on the left side of the infield. He was a name that popped quite a bit in the summer circuit and has chosen to stay close to home and head to one of the perineal powers in the SEC.
Ben Jacobus, OF, Class of 2027
Commitment: TCU
Jacobus was one of the major storylines over the summer as he reclassed up an graduating class to 2027 and immediately made a huge impact on the summer circuit for one of the premier programs in the country. This all following a monster spring campaign for Corona Del Sol that saw them take home the state title in Arizona. Jacobus has a strong feel to hit and just always seems to put the barrel on the ball. It’s a prototypical left-handed hitting, top of the order bat with good run times and athleticism to cover ground in the outfield. TCU continues to do an excellent job on the west coast and land one of the top names in Jacobus, adding onto an already strong ’27 class.
Andrew Brech, RHP, Class of 2027
Commitment: Georgia Tech
Brech was one of the standout underclassmen in Jupiter, going two scoreless innings and striking out four and just a few weeks later announced he was heading to Georgia Tech. Brech isn’t the most physically imposing right-hander, standing at 5-foot-11, but he moves great and the velo should continue to rise as a result. The feel to spin here has always been great going back to my early looks when he was a freshman. The arm speed is. Great and he throws three pitches for strikes each time out. It’s yet another Georgia native heading to Tech as they continue to dominate in-state recruiting and land some of the top names in one of the more talent rich states in the country.
Griffin Miller, OF, Class of 2026
Commitment: Wake Forest
Miller was a name that jumped off the page in the summer months with some big performances in premier events. These performances included a WWBA that saw him hit .500 with two homers and three doubles while also walking six more times than he struck out. Wake Forest has had a history of diving into Florida to grab some of the top names and have done so yet again with Miller. It’s a strong profile with great bat speed and barrel awareness and the power continues to trend up. He can play all three outfield spots, will probably settle into a corner role at a powerhouse like Wake Forest. The bat is a major get and Demon Deacons fans should be excited about landing this one from Florida.

Spencer Evans, LHP, Class of 2026
College Commitment: Louisiana State
Evans added his name to a once again stacked Louisiana State recruiting class, a group that may be impacted by July’s MLB Draft. Evans works from a projectable 6-foot-3 frame, featuring present strength in the lower half. He starts with a mid-body handset before working into a higher leg lift, firing down the mound via an abbreviated arm action and a higher three-quarters slot. Evans advertises an advanced two-pitch mix, starting with a lively fastball that showcased jump and ride, reaching 95 mph. The Florida native mixes in a sweeping slider with added depth and late bite at times, spinning it in the 2500 range.
Stephen Bobo, OF/LHP, Class of 2027
College Commitment: Vanderbilt
Bobo announced his intentions to stay close to home, pledging his name to Vanderbilt. Bobo joins yet another stacked Commodores class, the likes of which continue to be a perennial power on the recruiting trail. A 5-foot-10 left-handed outfielder, Bobo showcases table setting tools that include lateral quickness and strong defense in the outfield. The Tennessee native has produced throws up to 93 mph from the grass, along with an accurate, compact, and quick barrel from the left side. Bobo also has two-way upside, reaching 89 mph on the fastball while mixing in a deep bag of quality secondaries. Tim Corbin lands another highly talented recruit from the state of Tennessee, looking to maximize Bobo’s two-way upside.
Isaiah Snavely, SS, Class of 2027
College Commitment: Wake Forest
Wake Forest landed infielder
Isaiah Snavely, who currently ranks as their top recruit for the 2027 class. Snavely is a 6-foot-3 shortstop with a projectable frame, featuring present strength and room to fill. The Indiana left-handed swinger starts wide and upright in the box, keeping the hands high behind the ear. Snavely works to a quick uphill barrel post inward hovering leg load. He works with a tight turn to the ball, spraying line drives to multiple fields. Defensively, Snavely figures to remain on the left side of the infield.
