Charlie Sarsfield is a 2027 OF/MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Linn-Mar. An athletic frame with a lean frame and slender build. Room to keep filling out the frame moving forward. Ran a 6.71 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who worked out at the position with quick feet and good athleticism working through it. He had quick feet, moving to it and through it well with good aggression and urgency. He shuffled into it with a strong arm on display during his round of throws. He fields it off the front foot with a really good glove, and good awareness showed throughout his reps. He had a strong arm with good arm speed, throwing 82 mph during his round of throws from the outfield. A left-handed hitter with an even base, higher-set hands, and a high-back elbow. He had an upright and direct path through it with a compact path. He had strength in his hands, good bat speed, and the ability to get the barrel on it with intent and speed. He was able to show some uphill swings through it, doing damage in the air. Showed some fluidity throughout the operation and a couple of good swings working backside during his round of BP Swings. He was twitchy with the swing and had clean mechanics overall -- coming through the swing quite well, with some carry and good extension that showed. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Great student. Named to 2024 Spring Midwest Workout TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
