PEARLAND, TX- It was a perfect weekend for softball out in Pearland last weekend. The weather was right, the competitors were ready, and some great softball was played at each age division. Thirty-two teams converged on the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch in three age divisions to battle it out to see who the Champions Cup victors would be. Below we highlight some of the top performers and standout players from last weekend’s action.
16U Division
Londyn Presley (2028, Katy, TX) of the HUSTLE STX-Aguado was a consistent force at the plate for her squad last weekend in Pearland. She is a strong and athletic kid who did a great job driving the ball to all fields. She has great contact point awareness and was impressive with her barrel control. She finished the weekend batting .500 and was a big offensive producer for her team with six RBI’s. She showed her power with four doubles as well. Overall, she is a strong athlete who is versatile and contributes in so many different ways on both sides of the ball.
Camri Jones (2028, Lafayette, LA) of the Impact Gold Htx 16U was one of the most impressive players on the weekend. Offensively, she was insanely impactful and was seeing the ball well. She finished her weekend with an impressive .727 batting average, driving four doubles, and showing off her opposite field power with a grand slam over the right-center fence. She did a great job driving the ball to all fields and keeps her barrel behind the ball well. She also played a solid third base, showing smooth glove work and a solid arm. She is one to keep your eyes on.
Rylee Schweitzer (2030, Pearland, TX) of the Strykers National 2k11 was impressive on both sides of the ball last weekend. Offensively, this left-handed hitter & slapper was scrappy in every at bat. She was extremely productive at the plate, finishing with a .600 batting average and stealing a team leading nine bases. She does a great job while slapping of keeping her front side in and holding her line through contact. She gets out of the box quickly without sacrificing her outside corner coverage. She has phenomenal barrel control and did a great job picking apart defenses. Even though she can play small ball, Rylee did a nice job pushing runs across the board with five RBI’s. She is a versatile and athletic outfielder who covers a ton of ground and attacks the ball well. Keep your eye on this one.
Lauren Stingley (2029, League City, TX) of the Athletics Mercado National Freeman finished the weekend batting .538. She walked four times and was a constant threat on the bases. She was one of the more impressive two-way players, showing off her dominance in the circle as well. On the mound, she kept batters off balance and did a great job hitting her spots. She has an athletic motion and has a ton of potential.
Breah Lozano (2029, Houston, TX) of the Impact Gold Htx 16U was a dominant force on the mound for her team. She appeared in four games, pitching a total of 10.2 innings and only allowing one earned run. She finished the weekend with a .68 ERA and struck out 11 batters. She did a great job keeping opponents off balance and keeping her team in ballgames.
Addison Sanchez (2028, Bryan, TX) of the Athletics Mercado Futures 16U Hildreth was a huge contributor to her squad last weekend. She batted an impressive .467 and a team leading nine RBI’s. She showed great patience at the plate, walking four times, and had a stolen base. She has an athletic swing, good front side resistance, and a violent back side. She generates some solid barrel pop and has good toe touch that allows her to see the ball well. She is also a dynamic middle infielder who has the versatility and athleticism to play multiple positions. She covers ground with a quick first step and attacks batted balls really well.
Olivia Matejka (2029, Pearland, TX) of the Strykers National 2k11 was impressive on both sides of the ball last weekend. In the circle she threw 11.1 innings and tallied nine strikeouts. Her ERA was 1.23 to end the weekend. She has a tall build and a ton of potential with her pitching. We see a bright future here. She also contributed to her team’s success on offense, finishing her weekend with a .357 batting average, good for third on her team. She drove in five runs for her team and just overall was impressive on both sides of the ball.
Ryann Matt (2029, Pearland, TX) of the Strykers National 2k11 was a consistent force at the plate last weekend. She finished her weekend batting .500 and driving in an impressive eight RBI’s. She belted two triples and showed great patience at the plate with four walks. She was a big piece of the puzzle in their impressive run during the Champions Cup. She helped them battle through nine games and made a true difference.
Brylynn Rickert (2029, Spring, TX) of the Texas Elite Bayer finished the weekend with a strong .529 batting average. She tallied nine hits with six singles, a double, a triple, and a homerun. She scored an incredible ten times for her squad and stole three bases on the weekend. This left-handed hitter has solid barrel control and did a great job spraying the ball all over the field. On the mound, she was an effective arm for her squad, finishing with a 1.75 ERA in eight innings pitched. Overall she had a solid weekend on both sides of the ball.

Brooklynn Hundl (2029, Sealy, TX) of the HUSTLE STX-Aguado batted .455 on the weekend with five RBI’s. She belted two doubles, drew three walks and had a stolen base.
Gracie Cox (2030, New Caney, TX) of the Texas Elite Bayer was an offensive spark for her squad last weekend. In her 19 plate appearances, she finished with an impressive .500 batting average. She belted two doubles and drew three walks.
Yanelli Contreras (2027, Pearland, TX) of the Hustle Premier 16U Carpenter finished with a .500 batting average and tallied three RBI’s for her team along with three walks.
Conlee Porter (2029, Iola, TX) of the Athletics Mercado Futures 16U Hildreth finished her weekend with a strong .421 batting average. She racked up eight hits with an inside the park homerun. She tallied two RBI’s and scored six times.
Madelynn Martinez (2029, Baytown, TX) of the Baytown Lady Stros finished her weekend with a .500 batting average. She belted a triple and had four RBI’s for her team. She walked three times and showed off her speed with three stolen bases.
Kailey Miranda (2030, Galveston, TX) of the Strykers National 2k11 was a strong force on the mound for her team last weekend as they battled through nine games. She finished with a 2.76 ERA and struck out an impressive 18 batters in 12.2 innings pitched.
