Coach Corbin and his staff look to continue the longest active streak in Division 1 after making their 17th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2023 and bring in the No. 6 ranked recruiting class in the 2024 rankings via Perfect Game. The Commodores bring in 19 recruits ranked in the Top 500 and four ranked in the Top 100 led by right-handed pitcher Owen Hall out of Edmond, Oklahoma. The hard-throwing Hall who sits in the low-to-mid-90s will be joined by nine other pitchers in Nashville including right-handers Austin Nye (Roseville, CA), Tristan Bristow (Helotes, TX) and left-hander Aiden O’Connell (Bedford, NH). The trio all boast 90+ arms and present big upside under the tutelage and guidance of pitching coach Scott Brown.

On the offensive side of the ball, Corbin will feature a pair of 2023 PG All-Americans in shortstop Brodie Johnston and catcher Aukai (Jaydon) Kea. The power-hitting Johnston could move to third base with the additions of talented middle infielders Rustan Rigdon and Julio Solier for a potent infield class with left-handed hitting William Hampton (Richmond Hill, GA) manning first base. Kea, a highly touted backstop from Hawaii will be joined by another athletic catcher in AJ DePaolo (Carrollton, TX) to provide a formidable duo behind the plate to lead the Commodores potent pitching staff.

Corbin along with coaches Mike Baxter, Tyler Shewmaker and Scott Brown have always done a tremendous job on the recruiting trail of bringing in top talent from around the country to Nashville. Under Corbin the Commodores have had 22 players selected in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft and with newly appointed coach Ro Coleman joining the staff, they will have to navigate the ever-changing landscape of college baseball recruiting.
