Robert Barrera (2024, Franksville, Wisc.) toed the slab for Hitters 2024 Grads on Friday to open things up. The left-handed pitcher operates from a slender and medium build, pitching from the stretch only. He showed some coil to his leg lift with a knee-to-chest motion, getting the leg lift tucked under the hands. He throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a longer arm stroke through release. He worked up to 87 mph on the fastball, with a good arm-side run to it. He held the mid-80s on the pitch and looked to located east/west. He showed the ability to get in glove side but battled through some command issues. He showed a mid-70s curveball with a good 1-7 shape to it that he could tighten up with good bite as well. The breaking ball worked with a good & healthy shape to it. He had a good changeup to pair, showing good arm-side tumble eliciting some whiffs from right-handed pi
