17u BCS Scout Notes: Days 1-2 | Day 3 | Day 4

Trevor Harrison (2023, Palm Harbor, Fla.) had a solid outing for Top Tier Roos American 2023. The big 6-foot-4 right-hander has a simple delivery, comes from an over the top slot, gets good downhill extension. The fastball sat 87-89 mph and got up to 91mph a couple of times, the pitch played well up in the zone and generated whiffs. Harrison mixes in a slurvy breaking ball in the low-70s that keeps hitters off balance and is a big speed adjustment from his heater. He moves well down the mound and hides the ball well from the hitter, making it hard to pick up out of his hand. Ended the day going 6 innings pitched with four strikeouts, allowing just 2 walks. Currently uncommitted.
