MLB Draft Board: Top 400

1. Baltimore Orioles | Termarr Johnson, SS, Mays HS (Ga.)
As everyone else has “reported,” the Orioles still don’t know who they are going to take and likely won’t for awhile yet. They’ve been tied to Druw Jones/Jackson Holliday here along with some college bats, and we heard Collier’s name as well, but we’re sticking with our very latest dope that says Termarr may be the guy.



2. Arizona Diamondbacks | Andruw Jones, OF, Wesleyan HS (Ga.)
This probably represents the Arizona best-case scenario, with Jones being highest on their board overall per the latest intel. If Jones goes first, expect this to be Jackson Holliday or potentially Brooks Lee.


3. Texas Rangers | Jackson Holliday, SS, Stillwater HS (Okla.)
This seems like it would be Jones’ floor in the universe where he doesn’t go 1-2, but the Rangers are known to covet Holliday regardless. Holliday is still in play at picks 1-2 per our intel as well, furthering the notion that we really don’t know what is going to happen yet.


4. Pittsburgh Pirates | Cam Collier, 3B, Chipola JC
We were told a few weeks ago that this was the spot for Termarr Johnson, though obviously in this iteration we have him going first. Similarly, Collier to the Pirates is gaining steam as one of those rumored deals that are almost always just rumors, but there’s enough smoke to link the two parties regardless.


5. Washington Nationals | Kevin Parada, C, Georgia Tech
We were told explicitly to mock Parada to the Nationals, though the presence of Elijah Green still being around in this scenario clouds that. If the board shakes out this way, we’d expect those two to be at the top of the WAS board.


6. Miami Marlins | Brooks Lee, SS, Cal Poly
This is expected to be a college bat somewhat regardless of how the prep board shakes out, but don’t rule out Elijah Green, nor some sort of big under-slot deal. This is where we start to hear Jacob Berry’s name in real earnest, as well as the first mentions of Campbell shortstop Zach Neto, who is a Miami native.


7. Chicago Cubs | Elijah Green, OF, IMG Academy (Fla.)
The Cubs are likely Termarr’s floor as we understand it, and the Cubs are known to love Collier as well. Regardless, in this instance, they grab the best player in the draft as we see it in Elijah Green who, regardless of “industry consensus” has supreme upside that is well-documented.


8. Minnesota Twins | Jacob Berry, 3B, LSU
Berry is seemingly in play all over the board and we think this is a good landing spot. We also hear Neto mentioned with this pick, and this is also the first place we hear Gavin Cross’ name with any serious level of steam.



9.  Kansas City Royals | Henry Bolte, OF, Palo Alto HS (Calif.)
There’s a general vibe in the industry that the Royals may get creative like they did last year and take someone down-board early, and they are known to love Henry Bolte. We were told to look for him to KC in the comp round, but given that they took Mozzicato at No. 7 last year, why not shoot for it early?


10. Colorado Rockies | Jace Jung, 2B, Texas Tech 
The Rockies are known to covet Jung and are as likely a landing spot for him as anywhere at present, though he could go before this. Other options include Jacob Berry if he were to fall here as well as Colorado starting the run on arms, with Michigan prep arm Brock Porter supposedly atop the list.


11. New York Mets | Justin Crawford, OF, Bishop Gorman HS (Nev.)
The Mets could target a prep arm here and are known to like Brock Porter, but the more prevailing winds at the moment speak to this being Crawford’s landing spot. The Mets, clearly, have some flexibility with two first half picks.



12. Detroit Tigers | Gavin Cross, OF, Virginia Tech
The Tigers are mostly tied to college bats, and are known to also like Berry, Jung, and Susac (in that order, as I understand it). This could be a spot for an arm, though that would be somewhat surprising.



13. Los Angeles Angels | Brock Porter, RHP, Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep (Mich.)
The Angels are expected to take an arm here and reasonably could be the first team to do so. Porter is mentioned a lot here, as is Gabriel Hughes from Gonzaga and prep lefty Robby Snelling.



14. New York Mets | Daniel Susac, C, Arizona
Susac is strong defensively and while the data suggests that his offensive abilities are more work-in-progress than truly refined, a first division regular exists here given the defense/power combo.



15. San Diego Padres | Dylan Lesko, RHP, Buford HS (Ga.)
Lesko would have easily been a top-10 pick prior to having TJ in April, but he’s still considered one of the best arms available overall. The Padres are absolutely all over the board right now so this pick is anyone’s guess, but Lesko makes sense.


16. Cleveland Guardians | Zach Neto, SS, Campbell
We’ve heard Cleveland active with the usual Cleveland profiles, namely young prep bats and still-projectable college arms, but Neto makes the most sense in this scenario. If he’s gone, this could be Jett Williams or Cooper Hjerpe, amongst others.



17. Philadelphia Phillies | Brandon Barriera, LHP, American Heritage HS (Fla.)
The Phillies have taken prep arms in the first round two years in a row already, and could certainly make it a third. This seems like Brock Porter’s floor if he were to fall some, with Snelling also in play. We’ve heard Tennessee outfielder Drew Gilbert mentioned here as well.

18. Cincinnati Reds | Cole Young, SS, North Allegheny HS (Pa.)
We hear Young’s name mentioned as high as the Mets at pick 11, and it’ll be interesting to see who goes first between he and fellow prep shortstop Jett Williams. We’ll go with Young here, and the Reds have also been linked with Oklahoma shortstop Peyton Graham and Tennessee outfielder Drew Gilbert.


19. Oakland Athletics | Dylan Beavers, OF, Cal
There’s so much smoke to Beavers/A’s that it feels like a smoke screen, but we’ll stick with it for now in this iteration. We haven’t heard Oakland with any preps at this pick, but that could certainly change if someone slides. For now we’re going with Beavers with any number of college bats behind him.


20. Atlanta Braves | Cade Horton, RHP, Oklahoma
Horton was an explosive riser over the latter third of the college season and into Omaha, and he’s in play a little earlier than this as well. We’ve heard Atlanta is amongst the heaviest teams on him, with a bevy of college arms including Prielipp, Hjerpe, and Hughes amongst them.


21. Seattle Mariners | Cooper Hjerpe, LHP, Oregon State
The Mariners are in a good spot as far as just seeing how the board falls, as they are known to covet college arms and should have their pick. Hjerpe is our highest-graded college arm this year and would be a steal at this pick, in our opinion. Justin Campbell gets mentioned here a lot, as do some left-handed hitting college bats.


22. St. Louis Cardinals | Gabriel Hughes, RHP, Gonzaga
The Cards will have several college arms in play here, including Hughes, Justin Campbell, and others who may or may not fall. Chase DeLauter is a name to watch here should he fall this far, as is Thomas Harrington.



23. Toronto Blue Jays | Drew Gilbert, OF, Tennessee
The Jays are mentioned most heavily with bats, with Oklahoma’s Peyton Graham and James Madison’s Chase DeLauter also getting a fair bit of pump at this pick as well as Florida’s Sterlin Thompson. Gilbert is the highest remaining player on our board at this point, so the fit makes sense.


24. Boston Red Sox | Sterlin Thompson, OF, Florida
Similar to the Jays ahead of them, we hear Boston primarily with college bats. This could be a landing spot for DeLauter, who may go 10-12 spots higher than this even, as well as Jordan Beck. This is where Eric Brown really starts to come into play as well.


25. New York Yankees | Spencer Jones, OF, Vanderbilt
It’s no secret that the Yankees are tied to Jones, even aside from the Aaron Judge comparisons, to the point where we’d expect this to be the pick. Regardless, we hear them mostly with college bats, with Tennessee’s Jordan Beck and Florida’s Thompson getting a fair bit of steam here.


26. Chicago White Sox | Jordan Beck, OF, Tennessee
This is where we could see the DeLauter slide stop, and it’s also a potential spot for Drew Gilbert should he fall this far, as well as potentially prep bats Jett Williams and Tucker Toman.



27. Milwaukee Brewers | Chase DeLauter, OF, James Madison
DeLauter has potential suitors as high as the early teens, and could come off the board well before this. Should he make it this far, the Brewers are a very logical landing spot. We’ve also heard Tyler Locklear and Brock Jones’ names mentioned here, along with a couple arms.


28. Houston Astros | Peyton Graham, SS, Oklahoma
We were told that the Astros specifically are all over Graham, and while he may go ahead of this, if he’s here we’d expect it to be the pick right now. It’s mostly college bats mentioned with Houston in general.



29. Tampa Bay Rays | Justin Campbell, RHP, Oklahoma State
Campbell has some of the more unique data in the college pitching crop this spring, and checks certain projection boxes that fit what the Rays like, amongst other things. This could also be a spot for Robby Snelling, who we have going next.


30. San Francisco Giants | Robby Snelling, LHP, McQueen HS (Nev.)
Snelling is in play seemingly as high as No. 13 to the Angels, but given the general risk avoidance needed surrounding prep arms, it makes sense that he falls a bit. We’ve also heard Kumar Rocker’s name here a fair bit.

Another week of JUCO baseball and another week full of wins for No. 1 ranked Johnson County . The Cavaliers have won 18 games in a row and have swept through the Jayhawk Conference to this point, setting a new school home run record along the way. Walters State returns to the top 5 this week on the strength of a 12-game winning streak. Both McLennan and Pearl River are coming off of undefeated weeks and look like strong top 10 caliber teams, while Midland (now 30-3) continues to climb in the rankings for the third consecutive week. Another pair of weeks has gone by this high school season and with that we have another High School Top-50 Update. Southern states are within a few weeks of the end of the season while some northern states are just getting started this week. Through the end of the spring, we will be bringing you updates to the Top-50 along with state rankings updates coming soon. For the first time in 2026, we have a new #1 in the country as Orange Lutheran (CA) takes over the top spot after winning the NHSI. Venice (FL) came in second place at the NHSI after a thrilling game against Orange Lutheran and comes in at #2. Previous #1 team in the country St. John Bosco (CA) rounds out the top-3 and will have a big showdown against Orange Lutheran starting tonight. Midseason Awards  Perfect Game Midseason Player of the Year:  Landon Hairston, OF, Arizona State  The season sophomore outfielder Landon Hairston is putting together is generational, even amongst the Hall of Fame talent Arizona State has fielded over the years.  Hairston, the 5-11/195 sophomore outfielder from Queen City, AZ has his club on track for another postseason appearance and they will make plenty of noise in the Big 12 regular season.  To put things in perspective on Hairston’s season, he is currently 5th in the nation in batting average, 3rd in hits, 8th in hits per game, tied for 2nd in home runs, tied for 5th in runs scored and is 4th in runs batted in so far.  He holds a batting average of .469 while slugging 1.027 and reaching base over half the time with an OBP of .551.  Hairston walks more than he strikes out and has 12 doubles, 17...

Roman Keister (2030, Dade City, FL) Could not miss the barrel this weekend tallying 6 hits including 2 triples and 4 RBI. Starts the load early and controls his body well, the up the middle approach really plays in game. Also worked from off the mound for an inning and picked up a punch out.  Colton Russo (2030, Coral Springs, FL) Showed off the power burning outfielders all weekend. 5 hits including two triples that carried over the CF and RF heads. Has a good understanding about using the lower half in the swing and the bat to ball skills really impressed.  Karson Blakney (2030, St. Augustine, FL) Made his impact in a big way this week, collecting the win in the quarterfinals. In his outing he went 5 shutout innings and struck out 5 while only allowing 2 hits. Worked in the mid 70s with the FB and topped out at 78. Also produced on offense driving in 5 RBI on 4 hits. ...
