14u World Series Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3

Right-hander Ethan Lee (2026, West Nyack, N.Y) made a pair of appearances throughout the World Series for East Coast Ghost Mocha, the first a brief relief appearance before getting the start on day 4. In both outings the ball jumped out of his hand, showing quality velocity with relatively low effort at release, running his fastball as high as 86 mph each time. The arm action moves fluidly through the backside, showing a full stroke while working to a truer three-quarters slot while generating cut action on the pitch and maintaining the velocity out of the stretch. Lee looks the part as he toes the rubber at 6-foot-1, 160 pounds and there’s no doubt additional velocity is on its way sooner rather than later given just how free and easy the arm works. He did run into some lapses in command as he tends to work across his strike foot, but when he has his timing the fastball jumps and the breaking ball shows some real teeth to it in the 72-74 mph range, offering late bite with the present comfort to double up on the offering.
