Tate Southisene (2025, Henderson, Nev.) continued his strong weekend with another good at the plate and on the mound. Loose hands produce quick bat speed through the zone. It combines with good barrel feel to produce loud contact to all fields. There is a surprising amount of power present that shows up in-game fairly often. On the mound, Southisene was just as impressive. The right-hander held the opponent scoreless for 2 2/3 innings out of the 'pen, showcasing an advanced two-pitch mix. An athlete delivery with quick arm speed produces solid velocity. The fastball sat 82-84 mph and generated a fair share of whiffs. It was paired with a quality, mid-70s curveball with slurve-like action. The offering showed sharp bite capable of getting chase swings below the zone. The sound delivery allows both offerings to be thrown for strikes regularly. The present tools, along with the room to develop further, makes Southisene one of the more interesting names in the class.
