PALM BEACH GARDEN, Fla. -- Perfect Game hosted its inaugural PG Hall of Fame Gala on Thursday, inducting 10 of the brightest stars to have moved through the PG universe as part of the first class of inductees.

Following online fan voting and a review by a specially created Perfect Game Hall of Fame selection committee, the inaugural class of Perfect Game Hall of Famers includes Carl Crawford, Prince Fielder, Zack Greinke, Bryce Harper, Brian McCann, Andrew McCutchen, Buster Posey, Mike Trout, Justin Upton and Joey Votto.

Fielder, who was a participant at the National Showcase in 2001, said his sons were the first people he told after he got the news he had been inducted.

“I told my boys," Fielder said. "They’re in every single Perfect Game showcase right now, so they were like, ‘Oh, wow.’ They realize I was good, but they don’t realize that I was good at their age, too. It’s pretty cool.”

As part of the festivities surrounding the inaugural Perfect Game Hall of Fame Gala, the Perfect Game Cares Foundation hosted the second annual PG Cares Fore The Kids Charity Golf Tournament at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Garden, in an effort to raise money for Perfect Game's Grow The Game Fund.

Perfect Game also honored Keon Johnson and Chase Mobley at the PG Hall of Fame Gala, recipients of the "Stay The Course" Award.
