Charlie Willcox (2025, Albany, Ga.) had a strong showing on the mound as the right-hander took the hill for 5 Star National Haynes early in the playoffs. He sports a high-waisted, lean build and projects more strength down the road. He worked with a medium arm action as he released from a higher slot with a fluid arm action. Willcox lived down in the zone as he filled it up. The fastball was up to 80 mph as he worked it in and out. He also mixed in a sharp spinning breaking ball with late 11/5 life that had guys swinging and missing. He ended up going five innings as he struck out eight and only gave up one hit.
