WWBA Underclass Uncommitted Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2

The WWBA Underclass World Championship is a national stage where the top underclass talent comes together, some known on the circuit while others are making their first impressions on Perfect Game scouts. With the abundance of scouting reports filed away each day from our scouts and the current state of recruiting, we have split our recaps into committed and uncommitted features, all of which will be linked at the top of each daily installment.

Miller Green (2023, Nashville, Tenn.) got his first look back on the circuit since a summer down to injury and showed good stuff working up to 84 mph with three pitches for strikes. The 6-foot-5, 195 pound lefthander is a picture of projection with long limbs and loads of control of them already. Having been up to 85 mph in the past, Green shows ease to the release as he commands the bottom part of the zone from a good angled release. The curveball was the go-to pitch here as he landed it for strikes well with good spin and break out of 11-to-5 shape and he also showed some feel to land a changeup as a third pitch that helps make up a long-term starter’s package.
