WWBA Underclass Uncommitted Scout Notes: Day 1 



The WWBA Underclass World Championship is a national stage where the top underclass talent comes together, some known on the circuit while others are making their first impressions on Perfect Game scouts. With the abundance of scouting reports filed away each day from our scouts and the current state of recruiting, we have split our recaps into committed and uncommitted features, all of which will be linked at the top of each daily installment.


Jayden Hylton (2022, Basking Ridge, N.J.) is one of the more high end bats in the 2022 class standing at an ultra-projectable 6-foot-6. The frame projects so well and the right-handed swing produces extremely hard contact already. The stroke is a bit long and will cause him to be late at times, but when on time and synced up with his upper and lower half the ball produces some serious exit velocity. In Friday morning’s game at the 5-Plex Hylton scorched a single over the second baseman’s head for a single. The relatively recent Stetson commit is ranked No. 86 in the class of 2022. The quick-twitch athleticism and the overall profile are extremely intriguing looking way ahead to the 2022 draft.
