Heston Kjerstad, Arkansas
Instantly creating a physically imposing presence at 6-foot-3,200-pounds, Kjerstad stands out on a baseball field. While he currently plays right field for the Razorbacks his future home may be in left field due to his arm strength, but his offensive profile should allow him to play anywhere on the field. Along with teammate Casey Martin, Kjerstad was one of the most impactful freshman in 2018, slashing .332/.419/.553 on his way to being named a Freshman All-American.

He has the look and feel of a throw-back slugger. There is a lot of hand movement in his load, but he does get his hands set in sync with a front-foot strike from a moderate leg kick. He looks to impact the baseball every time he steps to the plate with the ability to drive the ball the other way, lofting with power from left-center field as a lefthanded hitter, with even more power to his pull side. As a result there’s some swing-and-miss to his game but it’s a fair tradeoff given his overall offensive production.
