Tristin English, Georgia Tech
As the first game of the series between Georgia Tech and UCLA entered the ninth inning tied at three runs apiece, the Yellow Jackets turned to their PG Preseason First Team All-American in Tristin English to keep the game tied. He did just that ultimately working three innings in relief and dominating from start to finish. English is a 6-foot-3, 208-pound physical presence on the mound appearing to be every bit of his listed build. The righthander worked as clean of a ninth inning as his team could have asked for throwing just six pitches and striking out a batter.
