Roniel Rodriguez Silva  OF - 2020 - Cabo Rojo, PR

Rodriguez had a impressive weekend in every part of the event. Right of out the gates Roniel posted a 6.40 second sixty, His speed translates to the outfield showing smooth actions and great closing speed to go along with good arm strength topping out at 82 miles per hour.

Tiger Borom  OF - 2020 - Jonesboro, GA
Grambling State

Borom continued to open eyes this weekend with impressive performances throughout the entire weekend, Tiger was able to run a 6.83 sixty yard dash. The Lipscomb commit showed off a smooth easy swing with great extension and great barrel control. From the outfield Borom topped out at 84 miles per hour.

Anibal Saez  SS - 2020 - Naranjito, PR
College of Central Florida

Saez had a big weekend with the bat and the glove last weekend in Kissimmee. At the plate Anibal showed great bat speed in his consistent stroke flashing the ability to drive the ball to the middle of the field with good lift and power. In the infield the shortstop showcased impressive arm strength topping out at 92 miles per hour accompanied by solid footwork and quick hands.

Justice Bailey  C - 2020 - Gainesville, GA

Bailey is a physical and strong player with the ability to play multiple positions. Bailey was able to showcase his speed with a 6.88 sixty during workouts. Justice put on a show in batting practice with his smooth swing with an opposite field approach and impressive power. Behind the plate the Georgia native was able to post a 1.91 pop time while topping out at 81 miles per hour.

Alejandro Rodriguez  C - 2020 - Greensboro, NC
College of San Mateo

Alejandro opened a lot of eyes last weekend with impressive velocity numbers from behind the plate and in the infield. During infield workouts Rodriguez showed raw arm strength topping out at 86 miles per hour with good range and quick hands, the arm strength translates behind the plate as well topping out at 80 miles per hour while posting a 1.87 pop time.

Pirmin Brechbuhl  OF - 2020 - Duluth, GA
Wake Forest

Brechbuhl started the weekend with a quick 7.04 second sixty and continued to impress the remainder of the weekend. The Georgia native showed off a lot of potential at the plate showing a level bat path with great timing and bat control to go along with impressive power.

Dave Mitchum  SS - 2020 - Gainesville, FL
Tallahassee CC

Mitchum cemented his place as a top player in the 2020 class with an impressive 6.65 sixty. Dave was also able to flash impressive barrel whip and bat speed at the plate with good ability to hit the ball with authority to the pull side of the field.

Dalton Strickland  OF - 2020 - Good Hope, GA
Gardner-Webb

Strickland showed his ability to play both was on a baseball field posting a 7.30 sixty yard dash while also putting on an impressive batting practice with a fluid swing with good bat speed. In the outfield Dalton flashed smooth actions and good arm strength topping out at 84 miles per hour. Strickland had a good outing on the mound as well topping out at 85 miles per hour accompanied by a eleven-five curve-ball at 66 miles per hour.

Jeremy Ambert  OF - 2020 - Bayamon, PR

Ambert impressed during outfield workouts flashed smooth confident actions while also showing off his arm strength topping out at 88 miles per hour. The Puerto Rico native took his opportunity to show his speed posting a 7.07 sixty during the event.

Christian Lasecki  C - 2020 - Panama City, FL

Lasecki made the tip to Kissimmee from Panama City and impressed on the mound and behind the plate. From the mound the 2020 grad flashed a methodical wind-up with a quick delivery creating some deception then add a fastball at 85 miles per hour and a tight breaking ball for strikes at 70 miles per hour. Christian also worked out behind the plate showing a quick release and transfer with good arm strength posting a 1.88 second pop time.

Abimelec Ortiz  OF - 2020 - Vega Baja, PR
Florida Southwestern State College

Ortiz made his presence known this weekend showing off his strength and athleticism in multiple areas of the game. To start the weekend Ortiz posted a 7.41 sixty followed by showing off some arm strength from the outfield topping out at 82 miles per hour. Abimelec then took a loud BP featuring a strong swing with great bat speed. Ortiz rounded off his impressive weekend with a 95 mile per hour exit velocity.

Melvin Reyes  RHP - 2020 - Coamo, PR
Galveston College

Reyes had an impressive weekend at the National Underclass East Showcase, on the mound Reyes flashed high potential with a quick arm along with a free and easy motion topping out at 83 miles per hour. Reyes opened the most eyes with his blazing 6.51 sixty yard dash.

Austin Tanner  RHP - 2020 - Windermere, FL

Tanner opened eyes at the event with impressive speed and arm strength. During the sixty Tanner was able to post a 7.19 second time while also posting good numbers throwing from the outfield topping out at 89 miles per hour. From the mound Austin showed a fastball at 84 miles per hour accompanied by a impressive curve-ball keeping hitters off balance through his entire outing.

Nathan Weber  SS - 2020 - Milton, FL
Bishop State CC

Weber was impressive from the start of the weekend to the end of the weekend. Nathan flashed a short direct stroke with good bat speed and barrel whip along with impressive power to all fields. During infield workouts Weber showed off impressive arm strength across the infield topping out at 84 miles per hour. The Milton, Florida native also showed potential on the mound topping out at 83 miles per hour complemented by two polished off speed pitches.


2021 Top Prospects

Edwin Arroyo  SS - 2021 - Arecibo, PR
Florida State

The 2022 graduate was one of the more athletic players to take the field as an underclassman over the weekend. Running a 6.86 and topping out at 86 miles per hour from the shortstop position, Arroyo-Agosto seems to only be moving in a positive direction as a prospect on the field.

Alex Ulloa  SS - 2021 - Cutler Bay, FL
Florida/Yavapai College

Alex Ulloa continues to prove why he's one of the top players in the 2021 class with a strong display at the National Underclass East event. He's very active from the shortstop position with clean hand work out front. With the bat Ulloa creates a ton of leverage and swings with intent to drive the ball. His big power potential was present during BP.

Matthew Prevesk  OF - 2021 - Apopka, FL
Florida

Prevesk is an all-around strong prospect on the field. His outfield mechanics are smooth and his throws were accurate to the infield at 83 miles per hour. He projects for top end power at the plate with a controlled stroke, driving a few off the wall in the outfield. He also pitched well on the mound getting up to 83 miles per hour while showing a true three-pitch arsenal.

Justin Quintana  OF - 2021 - Miramar, FL
Army

Quintana utilizes a slightly uphill bat path to the ball and looks to create a ton of leverage at contact with a big amount of bat speed. He keeps his mechanics simple so he's easily able to repeat at the plate.

Bryan Loriga  3B - 2021 - Hialeah, FL
Florida International

Loriga is a standout 2021 graduate at the plate with a quick trigger and present bat speed into a line drive path to contact. His swing is low effort and easily repeated and he's able to get the ball in the air with natural leverage when squared up.

Gilberto Torres  OF - 2021 - San Lorenzo, PR
Ranger College

Torres made the trip to Kissimmee from Salinas, Puerto Rico and his performance did not disappoint. Torres posted a 6.72 sixty yard dash to go along with his impressive arm strength topping out at 91 miles per hour from both the infield and outfield.

Ben Petri  SS - 2021 - Lighthouse Point, FL
Virginia

Petri was one of the more pure athletic players over the course of the weekend. His top end speed was on display as he ran a 6.60 second 60-yard dash. He also was solid at the shortstop position with smooth mechanics and a strong arm at 84 miles per hour. Petri was also clean and consistent during his batting practice session.

Grayson Adams  LHP - 2021 - Apopka, FL
Eastern Florida State

Adams showed some of the highest amount of bat speed all weekend. He's a physical player that creates loft through his naturally lifted swing path and can drive the ball with loud jump. He consistently squared the ball up each and every time while keeping the ball on a line.

Tommy Ramos  SS - 2021 - Hialeah, FL
Fayetteville Technical Community

Ramos was impressive at the plate throughout the weekend. During batting practice Ramos flashed great bat speed with a powerful lower half and quick hands as well as the ability to drive the ball to all parts of the field. Tommy posted an impressive 94 mile per hour exit velocity at the event as well.

Sergio Ortiz  SS - 2021 - Yabucoa, PR
Indiana State/Vernon College

Ortiz showed off the ability to become a strong two-way player moving forward. The 2021 grad was solid during infield drills with quick feet and quick hands and displayed a strong arm across the diamond. His strong arm translated well to the mound, where he was up to 87 miles per hour with the fastball creating sharp downhill plane to the plate.

Ty Hollandsworth  OF - 2021 - Parkland, FL
Hillsborough CC

Hollandsworth is a strong outfield prospect with a strong knowledge of how to field his position. His exchanges are quick and concise and he's able to get on top of the ball well and top out at 84 miles per hour. He moves athletically with help from his 6.72 60-yard dash time.

Ian Soto Roman  OF - 2021 - Florida, PR
Gannon

Soto continued to impress on the showcase circuit at the National Underclass East, Ian showed a fluid strike with quick hands and very projectable power at the plate while posting a impressive exit velocity at 88 miles per hour. The large framed outfielder flashed great arm strength topping out at 85 miles per hour, with smooth actions in the outfield.

Tanner Jones  RHP - 2021 - Thorsby, AL
Jacksonville State

The righthanded pitcher had a solid outing on the mound and really displayed some things to like in the young 2021 graduate. Up to 85 miles per hour, Jones has top end arm strength and can get down the mound well utilizing the lower half. His curveball and changeup off-speed combination shows potential to be a pair of good put away pitches

Yesiel Gonzalez  SS - 2021 - Caguas, PR

The primary shortstop Yesiel Gonzalez was strong in each facet of the game over the weekend. He has the ability defensively to stay in the middle of the field, as well as being able to handle the stick. Gonzalez also got on the mound and was up to 87 miles per hour working the edges of the plate with ease and creating a lot of life.

Luis Gonzalez  C - 2021 - Carolina, PR
Palm Beach State

Gonzalez enjoyed success in many areas in Kissimmee last weekend. To start the weekend Gonzalez was able to post a 7.22 sixty. At the plate Luis flashed a very smooth clean swing with great ability to turn the barrel and drive the ball to all parts of the field.

Jacob Hendricks  2B - 2021 - Central, SC

Jacobs Hendricks, an athletic 6.92 runner, was strong at the plate both in batting practice and in the games. He has good bat speed and swings with intent looking to impact the ball on a line drive path. He was able to consistently produce jump off the barrel to the pull side of the field.

Chandler Hicks  OF - 2021 - Covington, GA
Andrew College

Hicks was able to show off his high end arm strength while working out in the outfield. Up to 89 miles per hour with an easy release, Hicks should be able to continue to add on his already steady arm strength. He moves well to the ball and gets it out relatively quickly while working in-line to his target.


2022 Top Prospects

Tanner Zellem  3B - 2022 - Fleming Island, FL
Tennessee

Zellem is able to create a high amount of barrel whip through the zone while remaining fluid and controlling the barrel of the bat well. His swing path is smooth and easily repeatable and shows a sound projection as a pull side hitter moving forward.

Simmi Whitehill  MIF - 2022 - Lincoln University, PA
Maryland

Whitehill is another player that stood out at the plate. He controls his swing well and flashes present pop off the barrel while torquing the hips. His stroke with the bat is simple and smooth and he's able to create barrel speed with a direct hand path to the ball.

Stone Blanton  OF - 2022 - Jackson, MS
South Carolina

Blanton is a very strong 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame that is able to utilize his muscular lower half well into his swing. He creates torque through his hips while displaying high end bat speed through the zone. When he's able to get to the ball out front it can really jump from the barrel
