Texas A&M

The Aggies may end up with the best all-lefthanded rotation in the nation as John Doxakis looks primed to be a high draft pick, Asa Lacy’s premium arsenal continues to progress and freshman Jonathan Childress – a 2017 PG All-American – could earn the final spot on the weekend. Newcomers who’ve stood out in the fall are transfers Mikey Hoehner (Cisco College, Texas) and Jonathan Ducoff (Houston Baptist and Baylor). Hoehner’s intangibles are high level and he is the favorite to be the every day catcher. Ducoff, who battled and beat Leukemia this year, provides positional versatility and professional at-bats in addition to outstanding makeup.
