Seeing Kevin O’Sullivan and his Gators in the upper tier of recruiting rankings isn’t a surprise anymore given their prowess on the trail and proven ability to develop talent upon arriving on campus. This 2019 class comes with an asterisk of sorts as it will actually impact their 2018 recruiting class which finished at No. 11 as both Perfect Game All-American outfield Jud Fabian and righthander Nolan Crisp are expected to enroll for the spring semester but will remain with the 2019s until officially stepping foot on campus. So while the 2019 haul is technically losing two players in the top 100, it’s a trade off any head coach would take in getting to big-time talents on campus a year early.
