2017 MLB Draft Preview Content

Patrick Ebert

Once again Perfect Game plans extensive coverage of Major League Baseball’s 2017 first-year player draft, complete with player rankings, comprehensive scouting reports and profiles, and regular updates and features on the elite prospects.

We’ll enhance our coverage with mock drafts and videos of top prospects. This content began last November, with a variety of top prospect lists as linked below, as well as our weekly Draft Pack series which kicked off in mid-March. In this series, for 11 weeks 10 players are broken down in detail every Friday leading up to the draft. In the end, 110 players will be profiled with detailed scouting reports and supplemental videos. Links to those features can be found below.

Our preview coverage ramped up in recent weeks with our update of the
top 150 draft-eligible prospects as well as our first mock draft. A feature focusing on this year's top tools will hit the site on Thursday of this week, and the Top 500 Prospect Rankings will begin their unveiling on May 22nd. This coverage will continue through the draft itself, which is scheduled for June 12-14.

All of the links to these features, and so much more, can be found below as well as by visiting Perfect Game's main Draft page.

PG draft experts David Rawnsley, Brian Sakowski, Jheremy Brown, Vincent Cervino and Patrick Ebert, along with PG feature writer Jeff Dahn, will be providing this unrivaled draft content.

All of these features will be available at varying levels of our subscription service, PG Crosschecker. To subscribe to PG Crosschecker’s more exclusive draft content, please click here.
