| Jordan fans 9 in win | Canning, UCLA outlast Bulldogs
Saturday Recap: Hansen back on track

Sunday Recap: Sooners, Bulldogs tie

For the second straight week no team left the Perfect Game Top 25 and no new team entered the rankings. In addition, all of the teams ranked 1-12 stayed exactly where they were as the results were as expected with the higher ranked teams winning their respective series.

The top teams on the cusp of Top 25 consideration (South Carolina, UC Santa Barbara) either didn't fare as well to break into the rankings or haven't had a strong enough test (Georgia Tech) to determine if their respective early-season success is legitimate. Next weekend, as ACC play opens, there is expected to be a lot more change in the rankings.

Ole Miss leap-frogged both Virginia and Florida State after another impressive week of play. UCLA did the same to Arkansas after going 3-0 at the Dodger Stadium Classic. Conversely, Coastal Carolina and Texas Tech both had 2-3 records this past week yet remain among those ranked. Coastal Carolina was given the benefit of the doubt given the strength of their early season schedule, while Texas Tech was coming off of a successful 2-1 showing against three Top 25 ranked teams at the Shriners Hospitals Children College Classic a week ago in Houston.

There will be no Perfect Game College Baseball program on SiriusXM College Sports Nation this evening, but the show will return to the airwaves a week from today, March 14, from 9-11 p.m. EST.

Also considered:
Alabama, Cal State Fullerton, Georgia Tech, UC Santa Barbara.
