2-Orange vs 1-Maroon Game Highlights

5/29/2022

Cooper Holmes (2026 1B, Stonewall, LA) jumped on one early and laces a fastball pull side for a single. He followed up with a line the other way as well. Solid showing at the plate by Holmes, seeing it very well and showing ability to use the whole field with impact.

Lash Henderson (2027 OF, Frisco, TX) has shown impact in every phase of the game this weekend. He snagged a shallow ball in center with an outstanding play, also showed versatility in the corner infield with plenty of upside in his glove and athleticism. Also held a solid two frames on the mound to close it out reaching back for 81 with feel for the secondary.

Diego Donoso (2026 OF, Troy, TX) flashes his speed down the line to beat an infield single and getting the orange offense going late in this one. Ended up scoring and showing off a promising run tool that produced.

William McIntire (2027 C, Boyd, TX) held a good look on both sides today. He was up to 80 on the mound showing good rhythm and fluid actions, really transfers the quality arm across the field. Also found a hard late barrel the other way to finish off a well-rounded day.

Masen Patton (2026 OF, Denison, TX) tagged a triple off the right field wall with one of the harder pieces of the game. Showed off some juice pull side in a big at-bat late in the game to keep the offensive performance rolling.

1-Maroon vs 2-Orange Game Highlights

5/28/2022

Lash Henderson (2027 OF, Frisco, TX) is one of the more impressive all-around prospects at the event and he showed it right away in game action smoking a line drive the other way into the right-center gap which got to the wall and allowed him to come all the way and score on an inside the park homerun. He controls the barrel in an impressive way and he projects as good as any prospect at this age at an already athletic 6-2/180 at 13 years old.

Masen Patton (2026 OF, Denison, TX) took a solid round of batting practice from the left side and turned it over into game action as his triple he hit was one of the better struck balls of the game and shows that the combination of hit and pop translates.

Drake Walker (2026 LHP, Grapevine, TX) got it done on both sides of the ball for the Orange team but was impressive on the mound as he punched out 7 in his 3 innings of work. It's a really low effort delivery working up to 81 mph with the fastball, sitting in the upper-70s and showing feel for a softer breaking ball. He added 2 hits as well.

Lucas McClure (2026 2B, Hendrix, OK) really got it done at the dish in this one as he racked up multiple hits, of different varieties, and showed that the line drive approach he used in batting practice can translate over to game action against a variety of arms.

Dylanger Wattles (Tsedoud) (2027 1B, Simi Valley, CA) racked up multiple hits in this one showing that he doesnt have to sell out to get to his strength in the swing and can even use the whole field like he did in sneaking a hit just inside the line the other way.

Batting Practice Highlights

5/28/2022

Marcus White (2025 OF, Mansfield, TX) continued to impress today after blazing the 60-yard dash, showing a quick and direct left-handed stroke with plenty of barrel throughout his round of BP.

Drake Walker (2026 LHP, Grapevine, TX) might be listed as a primary arm but he showed some big strength in his lefty swing, lifting some balls out to his pull side, showing nice power potential off of the stick.

Emmanuel Aguilar (2027 SS, Cleburne, TX) put together a nice round, finding plenty of barrels throughout his round while living comfortably towards the middle of the field.

Lash Henderson (2027 OF, Frisco, TX) kept impressing after his showing early in the day, finding lots of barrel throughout his round of BP with quickness to his hands and plenty of room for added strength moving forward.

Masen Patton (2026 OF, Denison, TX) showed a loose and easy swing from the left side, showing a longer and leverage path with the ability to already impact the baseball.

Sean Ramos (2026 SS, San Antonio, TX) remained on time with his leg lift trigger, uncoiling well into contact while implementing his strength to barrel the baseball hard to all parts of the field.

William McIntire (2027 C, Boyd, TX) put together a nice round, consistently getting extended while driving the ball to both gaps, showing balance in his lower half and plenty of looseness to his hands.

Dylanger Wattles (Tsedoud) (2027 1B, Simi Valley, CA) knows how to incorporate his strong frame and did just that throughout his round, back spinning baseballs to the middle of the field with solid carry the other way as well.
