Masen Patton is a 2026 OF/C, UT with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Denison, TX who is home schooled. Young, athletic look with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, compact arm action through the back, strides open and gets rotational at release, gets uphill at times with release, fields it cleanly, works through the ball. Lower set behind the plate, upper body dominant release and can continue to implement additional footwork, quick release, accurate down to second base. Switch-hitter, swing more refined from the left side at preset; loose and easy path, shifts into contact well and shows some strength off of the barrel, connected for a 3B in live action into right field corner, comfort working to pull side. Narrow set with a later hand load from right side, utilizes a small shift through lower half, repeats swing path well. Very good student.
