Batting Practice Highlights

2/26/2023

Tate Musko (2024 LHP, Uniontown, PA) peppered the pull side of the field throughout his round, producing consistent barrelled contact while successfully getting the barrel out in front. He started from a slightly open quiet stance with a bigger leg lift trigger, flashing evident bat speed and balance in the stroke.

Adam Hess (2024 1B, Greensburg, PA) used a narrower slightly open base to generate solid contact with carry to the middle of the field. The 5-foot-11, 195 pound righty fired the hands through the zone with clear intent and displayed developing power potential.

Eric McAllister (2027 3B, Dysart, PA) generated line drive contact to all parts of the field with ease, showing off the repeatable compact stroke from an even balanced base. The righty flashed evident bat-to-ball skills with a stroke that is expected to translate in game.

Reese Clarke (2026 OF, Venetia, PA) had one of the louder rounds of the day displaying tons of clear hip torque and lower half drive to create effortless carry on the baseball gap to gap. The young ‘26 prospect has natural loft in the stroke with further power coming in the future.

Vincent “Vinny” Pezzuolo (2026 SS, Bessemer, PA) settled into his round nicely by producing consistent line drive contact back up the middle with bat speed and hand quickness present. The righty limited unnecessary movements in the stroke and displayed evident feel for the barrel.

Brady Pellegrom (2024 RHP, Chesterfield, MI) put a direct, super simple approach on display throughout his round showing off both the contact and power tools to all parts of the field. The strong framed 6-foot-1, 205 pound prospect removed the stride from his swing to optimize timing with plenty of components to like in the stroke.
