Max Avery (2029 C, Raleigh, NC) got the barrel out front and drove it to the left field fence for a triple. The right-handed hitter works from an uphill bat plane with some strength at contact to the pull-side. Creates loud contact with some feel to impact the ball.
Kiptyn Middleton (2029 RHP, King, NC) showed a ton of upside on the mound. The right-handed pitcher ran the fastball (2032 RPM) up to 81 and paired it with a curveball (2001 RPM) in the mid-60s. Good arm speed with tons of projection remaining in the 6-foot-2, 162-pound frame. Got the barrel out front and laced a triple into the left-center field gap. Added another single on a backside single.
Anthony Montelone (2029 3B, Mount Pleasant, SC) showed the upside in the box adding a double down the left field line. The right-handed hitter got the barrel out front to barrel up an 80mph heater. Solid strength in the swing and showed some feel to control the barrel.
Cash Coeburn (2030 1B, Cary, NC) pulled off a well executed hit-and-run to drive in an RBI. The left-handed hitter served it through the backside for the knock. Showed some feel for the barrel with strength in the frame. Some feel to lift and loft the ball especially to the pull-side. Added another knock through the right side for his second hit of the game.
Bryson Lanford (2029 3B, Fountain Inn, SC) showed the feel for the backside gap lacing a double to right-center gap. The right-handed hitter showed solid feel for the barrel. Collected multiple barrels during game action.
Cooper Long (2029 SS, Fayetteville, NC) showed good upside on the mound. The right-handed pitcher ran the fastball (1915 RPM) up to 81 that had some arm-side tail and paired it with a mid-60s curveball (1738 RPM). Also showed the two-way upside adding two loud barrels back up-the-middle.
Greyson Manos (2030 SS, Simpsonville, SC) showed the barrel control roping a backside triple into the right-center field gap. The right-handed hitter showed quick hands with obvious athleticism. Projects well as the young 5-foot-10, 150-pound frame fills out and matures. Also showed the upside on the mound working the fastball (2095 RPM) up to 81 and paired it with a mid-60s curveball (2032 RPM) and a mid-70s slider (2003 RPM).
Mason Murphy (2029 LHP, Lagrange, NC) pulled one right down the right field line for a double. The left-handed hitter turns well with flashes of juice in the frame. Pull-side approach at the plate with a clean path to impact.
