8-Red vs 9-Royal Game Highlights

8/16/2025

Jacob McKenna (2029 RHP, Danvers, MA) sat back a ripped a tough fastball to the pull side gap, legging out a triple. Showcased feel for the barrel with a gap-to-gap line drive approach and speed on the bases. 

 

Scott Manter-Goldberg (2028 SS, Brooklyn, NY) sent a deep drive to straightaway center, flying around the bases and registering a triple. Showcased a line drive approach at the plate with the ability to pepper the middle of the field. 

 

Connor Gracey (2029 OF, Lititz, PA) jumped all over the first pitch of the inning, launching a deep extra base hit to the right center field gap. Showed a strong ability to drive the ball to the pull side, legging out a triple via quick actions on the bases.

 

Mason Matis (2029 LHP, Flemington, NJ) struck out four over a strong two inning start, allowing just a hit. Worked his FB up to 78 with jump out of the hand. He also mixed in a 1-7 CB and fading CH that were both landed for strikes.

 

Brady Williams (2029 SS, Ocean View, NJ) sent a deep fly ball to left, legging out a triple on a ball to the wall in left. Showcased strength in the barrel with impact potential to the pull side. Also sat back and drove a fastball into the left center field gap that went to the wall, legging out another triple.

 

Nick Vlastaris (2029 1B, Medford, NJ) accounted for a run after legging out a triple to the wall in left center. Sent a compact barrel through the zone, catching a line drive to the pull side. Later in the game he crushed a pull side homer over a deep LF wall. 

 

Colin Ryan (2030 C, Malvern, PA) ripped a hard hit triple down the line in left, flying around the bases to leg out the three base hit. Possessed athletic actions with ease to the operation in a medium left-handed frame. He also ran his FB up to 78 on the mound over a pair of innings. 


9-Royal vs 6-Black Game Highlights

8/17/2025

James Sanfilippo (2029 OF, Moorestown, NJ) was sharp in a two inning start on the mound, picking up three strikeouts while effectively sequencing a three-pitch mix. The 5-foot-10, 155 pound righty topped out at 82 mph with feel for both a CB and CH in the arsenal.

Nick Vlastaris (2029 1B, Medford, NJ) smoked a ball to the CF wall in the top of the top of the 3rd for an RBI triple, jumping on a first pitch high FB for success. The 6-foot-1, 200 pound prospect has evident strength in the hands with clear power production to the pull side / middle of the field. Vlastaris also touched 83 mph on the mound with running action present.

Michael Stathoudakis (2029 2B, Brooklyn, NY) did a nice job of protecting the outer half with two-strikes in the top of the 5th, lining a single the opposite way with present barrel control shown.

Matthew Geiger (2029 SS, Washington Crossing, PA) put together a clean two innings on the mound for his squad, touching 80 mph with advanced spin profile in the arsenal for his age. He excelled at snapping off an 11-5 breaker upwards of 2690 rpm with tons of late bite present. He showed off the two-way potential to end the day, shooting a double to the LCF gap with carry and backspin production present.

Brady Williams (2029 SS, Ocean View, NJ) flashed some intriguing tools on the mound in his appearance out of the pen, touching 80 mph with plenty of additional projection to come as the 5-foot-7, 135 pound frame fills out. Williams showcased the ability to effectively mix a 12-6 shaped breaker with developing spin profile shown in the arsenal. 

Scott Manter-Goldberg (2028 SS, Brooklyn, NY) turned on one and roped a 2 RBI double down the LF line in the top of the 8th, flashing intent to generate impact out in front with pull side tendencies in the stroke. The 5-foot-9, 145 pound prospect also pitched an efficient inning on the mound up to 82 mph.

7-Columbia Blue vs 8-Red Game Highlights

Joah D'Andrea (2029 SS, Falmouth, ME) did a nice job of generating impact the opposite way during his first AB of the day, picking up a knock to RCF with present barrel control on display.

Sebastian Joubert (2028 OF, Lyndhurst, NJ) won a nine pitch battle in his first AB ultimately ending with a barreled RBI line drive single to LF. The 5-foot-9, 165 pound prospect did a nice job of spoiling pitches during the AB with backspin created to the pull side.

Christopher Meyer (2029 OF, Huntington, NY) found some room down the RF line for an RBI knock in the bottom of the 2nd as the 5-foot-9, 140 pound righty flashed some inside out to the approach with present recognition of pitches out of the hand. 

Austin Crowley (2029 SS, Media, PA) hammered a ball back up the middle with clear jump off the barrel in his 1st AB; the 5-foot-11, 160 pound prospect continued to swing it well this weekend. He was also  another arm who was able to run it into the low 80s on the bump, showcasing a loose clean arm path and over the top release to generate consistent swing/miss. 

Brian Tang (2029 3B, Hopkinton, MA) roped a ball to CF in his second opportunity, showcasing the ability to impact the baseball out in front with present barrel extension on display. He then followed it up with a hard hit pull side RBI double and continued to find the good part of the barrel on the day.

Peyton Silva (2029 SS, Ridgefield Park, NJ) drilled a ball into the RCF gap in the bottom of the 4th, showcasing young carry production with evident bat speed to be found.

Josh Sosinov (2029 SS, Marlboro, NJ) was certainly an intriguing arm out of the pen, running his FB up to 82 mph with natural movement generated from a low 3/4 slot. The 6-foot-1, 175 pound prospect can be considered an athletic mover on the mound with feel for a two-plane breaker in the arsenal.

JJ Russell (2029 OF, Wayne, PA) presented a unique look on the mound in his two innings of work, striking out the side in the bottom of the 8th with evident spin profile in the arsenal. The still plenty projectable 5-foot-10, 145 pound prospect sequenced effectively with spin reaching upwards of 2300 on the breaker with late bite.

Chase Norris (2029 LHP, Lebanon, PA) rocketed a triple to deep CF in his last plate appearance, ending the day with multiple knocks with clear carry production to the middle of the field.

6 - Black vs. 7 - Columbia Game Highlights

8/16/2025

McCoy Nye (2029 RHP, Manheim, PA) dominated on the mound, topping out at 84mph, blowing his heater by numerous hitters while flashing a late-breaking 10/4 CB (2600 RPM) that kept hitters guessing. A two-way prospect, Nye also showed off some pop with the bat, turning on an inside FB and driving it down the LF line for a 2B. 

Aiden Rittenhouse (2029 SS, Audubon, PA) flashed some true two-way potential, tossing two clean, efficient innings on the mound and topping out at 80mph. With the bat, Rittenhouse was aggressive early in counts, leading to hard contact to the pull side for two hits. His aggressiveness translated to the bases, as he was quick to steal and create pressure on the defense. 

Chase Norris (2029 LHP, Lebanon, PA) showed solid pitchability with two quality innings early, striking out two. Topping out at 81mph, Norris was one of the hardest-throwing southpaws seen on Day 1. 

Austin Crowley (2029 SS, Media, PA) showed some athleticism on both sides of the ball, lofting a 2B to the LF wall and flashing the leather with a diving play in the hole at shortstop. Crowley made all the routine plays and looks to build on this performance heading into his freshman year at Malvern Prep. 

Alex Gladwin (2028 1B, Chesterfield, NJ) demonstrated quality stuff, topping out at 83mph with the FB and mixing in an 11/5 breaker that made hitters very uncomfortable. Gladwin has room to build and should be a solid arm moving forward.

Joah D’Andrea (2028 1B, Chesterfield, NJ) collected a pair of hits for Team Columbia. Also scoring a run, D’Andrea had a solid day offensively and showed off his barrel skills. 

Robert Chon (2029 LHP, Wood-Ridge, NJ) tallied two hits and stole a base for team Black. Chon served as his team’s spark plug, making things happen.

Matthew Geiger (2029 SS, Washington Crossing, PA) collected two hits on the day. Showing good bat-to-ball skills, Geiger had a good feel for the barrel and produced hard contact. 

Jeremiah Nivar (2029 3B, Bogota, NJ) had a very productive day offensively, lining two hits, one being a deep 2B in the gap. Nivar came through when needed, as he also drove in two runs, displaying his ability to hit with runners in scoring position.
