Matthew Geiger is a 2029 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Washington Crossing, PA who attends The Hun. Lean young athletic build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.92 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense with two-way potential on the mound. Did a nice job of working through the ball defensively with active footwork displayed. Softness to hands with reliable glove work, topped out at 80 mph across the diamond. On the mound, started from the 1B side of the rubber with running action present to the FB again up to 80 mph. Low effort and refined operation with more in the tank for the future. Lots to like in terms of spin profile on breaker, registered at 2694 rpm with late vertical movement. Offensively, started from a narrow even base with a compact hand set. Pull side middle of the field approach with line drive tendencies present. Posted an exit velo of 80 mph. Named to the 14U Mid-Atlantic All-State Games Top Prospect List.
