Miguel Leon is a 2026 SS/MIF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Bel Air, MD who attends John Carroll. Medium athletic build. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has very good body control, stays balanced and gets the glove down early, fields the ball cleanly out front, good routes to the ball, has a short and compact arm action that may end up best suited for second base. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high and tight hand load, big stride and separation into contact, swings hard and creates some bat speed, can get a bit long and off balance at times. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Maryland.
