Jean Daniel Rosa is a 2027 middle infielder with a 5-11 178 lb. athletic frame from Humacao, PR who attends Central Pointe Christian. Started the event off clocking a 6.74 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop, secondary pitcher. Plays well on the move on the dirt. Has solid arm strength topping 85 mph and gets rid of the ball quickly. Right handed hitter, has a short swing with quick hands, hits from a wide sturdy base and has good leverage at contact, ball comes off the barrel with hard line drive jump. Also pitched and is a two-way prospect. Medium leg raise delivery. Has good direction and some energy down the mound, 3/4 arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph and showed a slider. Excellent student. Named to the Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
