Jake Tripp is a 2026 C/UT with an athletic 5-11 185 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends Punahou HS. Started off clocking an event best 7.28 60-yard dash. A primary catcher that stood out amongst his peers with superior, accurate throws with zip to second base consistently clocking a 2.10 pop time. Worked out at first base as well and has a crisp, clean round making all the required plays. A physical hitter that employed a pull approach in his BP round showing he could consistently put the barrel on the ball with intent. Good student.
