Vishnu Iyer is a 2027 SS/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from San Carlos, CA who attends Junipero Serra. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.62 runner in the sixty. Switch-hitter at the plate that mirrors. Medium base with a low back elbow and leg hover load to start the swing. Level path with present bat speed and feel for the barrel. More impact to come with growth and development. Primary infielder on defense with light feet, moving low to the ground. Clean glove mechanics with quick transfers. Short arm action with arm speed and accurate tosses across the diamond. Excellent student. Named to the PG Sunshine Northern California Showcase Top Prospect List.
