LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2024 New England Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jake Lonardo is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Lincoln, RI who attends Xaverian Brothers. Medium frame with strong legs. Stiff mover but loads into the back side well. Shorter arm stroke to a high three-quarters release. Dominated the lower portion with the straight fastball. Conviction on the mound. Driving it through the glove with solid carry. Curveball has solid depth but idetinified out of the hand easily. Only gave up one barrel and attacked the zone throughout. In the outfield, he closes quickly and fields out front. Low flight throws were on the money often. Fringe average strength out of the hand. Right-handed hitter, medium base and even feet. High hand set and leg lift trigger. Crude swing but there's obvious strength when squared. Can impact the ball in the air primarily through the big part of the field. 5.41 40-yard. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
