Cole Koeninger is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Keller. Outstanding athletic build with good present strength, especially in the lower half, and more to come. Highest level two-way prospect. 6.49 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, showed outstanding game actions and made all the plays, smooth working through the ball, plays low to the ground and can make all the throws, big arm strength when on top, can stay at shortstop despite his size/strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a wide base with a small leg raise and stride into contact, has a compact turn and a short and direct swing, ball comes off the barrel hard. Has an athletic delivery on the mound with very good arm speed. Fastball topped out at 95 mph with good metrics and big carry up in the zone and occasional cut down low. Curveball was an elite level pitch with power and nasty biting life, created very uncomfortable swings with the curveball and made hitters look bad. Excellent student with a verbal commitment to Tennessee. Named to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
