2024 South High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Carson Warembourg is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis. Primary C with a compact frame and good strength. Sets up in a side saddle with a high base. Gains ground through the plate and replaces feet well. Has a quick exchange and gets it out quickly. Was up to 78 from behind the dish with good arm strength and recorded a 2.09 pop time. Was also accurate around the bag. Showed good feel in general and receives it well. Also ran a 7.40 sixty. Right handed hitter with a wider base and good balance. Low hand set that rears back and up on the load. Uses a small leg raise and stride into contact for timing and rhythm. Will need to get the foot down sooner moving forward for timing but has the potential to be a big power bat. Rotates hard at the top half of things and clears hips well while impacting it hard to pull. Was able to find some impact off the wall during his round of BP. Good power projection here. Excellent Student.
