2024 Class of 2027 All-American Games
Genis Lopez Jr is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 6-0 167 lb. frame from Simpsonville, SC who attends Mauldin. Athletic build and high-waisted frame. Good athlete who showed out at first base and outfield drills. Huge carry and arm talent behind throws. Athletic and moves well, works through it and arm jumps out of hand. Quick transfers, works around bag well at first and adjusts his slot very well. Lower release and the arm strength stood out in all facets. Left-handed pitcher, high three-quarter slot with slight angle at release and awfully quick out. Makings of good extension out on his fastball. Loose and free, easy at points. Good lateral dive and bite to a slider, slowed arm on change but kept shape of it and showed feel. Fastball has big traits and missed bats. Left-handed hitter with a slight wrap into load with good rhythm in the box. Turns hard and rotates well, ability to go the other way showed out. Feel for the barrel and sprayed it a good bit to all fields. Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
