2024 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Jhosuil Colon is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Canovanas, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Started the event off clocking a 6.84 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary pitcher. Two-way prospect. Defensively he showed twitchy aggressive actions working through the ball with confidence. Clocked a 91 from the outfield with excellent carry and zip to the bag. Right handed hitter, hits from an even stance, has solid present bat speed and showed his lift and juice a number of times in games, creates lots of backspin for additional carry, squared up everything in games and attacks out front with very good timing. On the mound Colon presents a medium leg raise working out of the stretch exclusively, pauses at the top to get balanced before firing down the mound. Has a clean, longer arm action and repeatable delivery. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, gets late cutting action at times and plenty of arm side run at others. Good student. Named to the Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
