Jacob Claver is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Desert Mountain. Primary first baseman, featuring a big, strong, sturdy frame. Shows glove and makes all the plays with a clean exchange and accurate arm. Switched up arm slots with double play feeds, staying accurate throughout. Secondary outfielder, shows good feet and a clean glove, tends to sit back at reception. Accurate arm to the bags with developing arm speed. Sets up with a medium base at the plate and a low back elbow. Toe tap trigger, stays compact with a direct path and an up the middle approach. Balanced operation with pull side power, staying on the screws throughout with 91 mph exit velocity. Excellent Student.
