Cole "CJ" Weinstein is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high and deep hand set, loads to his back side with good positive shift back to his front, works mostly pull side with some feel to lift on his pitch. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, is aggressive to the ball with good balanced footwork, quick release on his throws and accurate from all angles, clean glove actions, stays low, solid fundamentals overall. Good student with a verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
