2021 14U Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase
Nicholas Reddish is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Independence. Strong athletic build for his age. Primary left handed pitcher but graded out better as a position player at this event. 7.25 runner in the sixty, ran the bases aggressively and used his speed well. Left handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a limited lower half shift and a barrel tilt load that creates some whip in his swing, strong enough to generate bat speed, looks to pull the ball and made solid contact repeatedly in the games with some jump off the barrel. Has good athletic actions in the outfield on defense, arm works well and has some young carry. On the mound, he worked from a full wind up with a short side step start, breaks his hands late and has a short stride out front, can lengthen out his mechanics. Had some arm speed and reached 72 mph on his fastball. Curveball flashed some depth and attacked the strike zone with both pitches. Good student. Named to the 14U Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
