Jose Angel Cotto is a 2025 C/1B with a 5-11 186 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Pro Baseball High School Academy. Big and strong athletic build, especially in the lower half. Right handed hitter, has a short and direct swing with good timing and some bat speed, worked gap to gap and was consistently on time, high contact swing with some strength behind it. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, pretty polished overall actions, has clean transfers and an idea on his footwork, gets rid of the ball quickly, compact arm action, makes very accurate throws. Very good student.
