Kale Thorson is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 6-0 180 lb. Large proportional athletic frame from Queen Creek, AZ who attends Queen Creek. A definite standout on the weekend. At the plate he starts in a traditional balanced stance with high hands. Showed good bat speed and had intent in his swing. Used a middle of the field approach and squared it up over half the reps he saw in his BP round. Defensively uses the proper foot/glove/transfer mechanics and gets through the ball well. Made all the required plays and throws asked off him. Showed nice accuracy on throws across the diamond. On the mound Thorson's athleticism shows through his solid mechanics and repeatable high effort delivery. Has shorter arm action on the mound that in the infield. Was able to throw strikes and mow the completion down easily. Good student. Named to the 2023 National Underclass West Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
