2025 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Sebastian Acevedo is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Temecula Valley. Started the event off clocking a 7.25 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary pitcher. In the outfield, he plays aggressively with an approach to get to the baseball quickly. He throws from a medium arm action to over-the-top slot with accurate 2-4 hop throws. He fields with intent and is developing arm strength while maintaining accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has an even stance with a taller upper half and a toe-tap trigger. He utilizes a two-part swing with a direct path. He makes consistent contact and works mostly through the middle with line drives. Shows good timing, on-barrel contact, and room to continue refining mechanics and strength. On the mound, the right-handed pitcher works with a side step delivery and a shorter arm action through a 3/4 slot. The fastball has natural cutting life at 73 mph (1989 spin), and he mixes in a breaking ball with loopy shape that flashes potential. He shows competitiveness on the mound and the ability to attack hitters, with room to refine as he continues to develop. Great student

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
