Kaden Waechter is a 2026 RHP/SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from St Petersburg, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit HS. Athletic, broad shouldered build with real projection remaining. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Fluid mover down the mound with lots of athleticism to the operation. Clean and quick arm stroke with very good arm speed. Fastball sat in the 92-95 mph range with lots of riding life and carry at the top of the strike zone. Moved the pitch around to all four quadrants and missed bats with frequency. Hard slider in the mid to upper 80s with short, biting life and bullet shape. Varied the pitch at 89-90 mph for more cutter-quality. Changeup was a good pitch to left-handed hitters as well. Plus delivery with real athleticism, command traits, and an arsenal coupled with the pitchability to turn over lineups multiple times. Good student. Verbal commitment to Florida State. Selected to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
