2024 Jr. National Showcase
Andrew Benitez is a 2026 OF/1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, NJ who attends Dominican Republic. Tall and athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a low back elbow load and a medium high leg raise load, gets extended through contact well, gap to gap approach, has good leverage in his swing and can drive the ball with some carry, best on pitches down in the zone, lots of projection with the bat. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has very solid fundamental actions working through the ball, keeps his momentum well into his throws, clean overall actions, makes accurate throws, more arm strength to come. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
