Brian Grant Jr. is a 2026 1B/3B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Katy. Big and physical build with plenty of present strength. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, step by step actions to the ball, turns well and has some arm strength, can quicken his release and accuracy. Also worked out as a third baseman but is best suited for first base moving forward. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium stance with a short stride into contact, has some hand quickness and good strength at impact, pull to mid field contact, rotational swing mechanics, has good rhythm and keeps his mechanics simple, strength shows in his swing. Bat is his tool. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
