Sterling Coaxum is a 2026 OF/1B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hanahan, SC who attends P27 Academy. Lean athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Elite level speed and twitch, 6.04 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, shows his athleticism moving to the ball and fields it cleanly out front, gathers well for his throws, long and loose arm action with projectable arm strength, speed will obviously be a big plus with his range. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread straight stance with a late toe tap trigger, hand hitch to start his swing can leave him late, has some one speed once he gets the barrel going, flashed some impact when he was on time but has adjustments to make at the plate. Excellent student with a verbal commitment to Clemson.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
