Niko Carpenter is a 2026 2B/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-7 138 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV. Young, narrow shouldered build, lean frame with room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran a 9.26 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, developing arm strength on throws across the diamond, deliberate tempo to actions, young footwork, shows accuracy on throws across. Also pitched, upper body dominant release with a three-quarters slot, creates some whip, fastball topped out at 69 mph, can continue to incorporate additional lower half. Fastball shows nice life to arm side and the curveball shows depth to it up to 59 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance, loads hands back at start of swing. Long swing path through the zone, keeps weight on backside, handsy swing and creates some extension out front, best when working on a linear plane, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
